You Need to Be Very Clear to Start
A mentor of mine has told me this fact and is working with me on it. He says that you must know exactly what you want. The key is to focus on just one thing to work on at a time. Here is what you need to do to get started.
- Pick one niche. Be sure your niche is something that interests you or something that you know about.
- Then, choose a target market. Be sure to select an audience that you know will be interested in your niche. Get very specific about age, education, location, and so forth. The more specific you are, and the more you narrow down your target audience the more successful you’ll be.
- Select one internet marketing strategy to follow. For example, you could do email marketing, blogging, or solo ads. Choose only one marketing strategy and stick with it. Don’t change your strategy. Make adjustments to it.
- Build your list. Get leads from traffic because leads can become buyers. This is true no matter what your marketing strategy is. Your list means that you have traffic when you need it.
Now you need to think. Turn off all other thoughts you are having and focus on the desires you have for your business. First of all you know you want an internet marketing business, right? Now, you have to know what kind of internet marketing strategy you plan to use for your business. Once you know what your strategy will be, you can worry about getting traffic. Also, you need to know your niche and who your target audience will be.
While you are considering all of this take notes. Once you know your niche, your target market and your marketing strategy, write them down and refer to this written document daily. Now you’re ready to really focus on marketing and that’s where most of your effort will be.
Be sure what you write is crystal clear. If it is not, you’ll have to work on it, and refine it until you believe it is. Essentially, you are writing out your goals and intentions here and they must be crystal clear. Clarity of your goals and intentions is what you really need to be on your way to success.
In addition, you will need to continue learning more about your niche, target audience, marketing strategy and internet marketing in general.
