Composting is one of the things I have been doing for years because it is a good way to recycle coffee grounds, used tea bags, fresh raw vegetable waste from cooking, fresh grass clippings, cow and horse manure, dried grass clippings, dried leaves, straw and eggshells.  Once it’s made, I use the compost in my herb and vegetable gardens.  It is a great natural or organic way to replenish or fertilize the soil in your garden.

The video showed you how to make a simple compost bin.  So, now the question of “How Do You Make Compost for Your Garden?” is answered.  By the way, you can get a compost tumbler or bin that makes the task easier.  With a tumbler, compost turning is easy because all you have to do is rotate the tumbler about once a week and you’ve “turned the pile.”

It takes some hard work to start a compost pile as well as a business…

Like anything else, when you start to compost it does take hard work, but once you’ve set up you bin or bins, it becomes easier.  It is much like starting a business.  It takes a lot of hard work at the start, but as you get going it becomes easier.
