Dachshund’s Great Pets:
Thought I would lighten things up today and talk about dachshund’s. I own one so I know how they act.
My dachshund is named gracie. She is only 2 years old but great company for me as I live alone. Gracie
is also spoiled, she always wants to lay in my lap and seems to crave attention no matter how much I
might give her. Here is a video of a dachshund with the same coloring of my gracie, and this is how she
acts when she wants to be held.
My friendly name for these dogs is weiner dogs cause of the way their bodies are. They really are adorable
when they are puppies. Their short legs and everything about them brings a smile to my face. I have
been a dog lover since I was a child, we always had a dog mostly mongrels or mixed breeds. I can
remember one day coming home from school and finding our dog dead. You see we also raised chickens and
this dog was killing them so my mother shot him. I know that is not a good story but it came to me
so I thought I would tell it.
The point being that I love dogs!!
That video shows how playful dachshunds are, they are just so dang cute. Another name I might call
them is weiner schnitzel. I know everyone has their favorite breed of dog, I think I like the small
breeds because they are a little easier to handle. I have been pulled down by many large breed dogs.
My son had a boxer and he was so cute as a puppy but when he got bigger my lord. If I tried to walk
him it would be more like lets run and I don’t care if you can keep up.
I will stick to the smaller breeds thank you very much. Well I know I did not put a lot of facts or
anything like that here but I wanted to keep it light and just share my love of dogs with you today.
