EmpowerNetwork – Here’s why I joined…
First, I want to give you a little background so that you know where I am at and where I have been. I have a background in banking, insurance, and real estate. When my first child was born, I decided to leave corporate America for the home life. My husband and I have three children. We didn’t want to send the children to the traditional public school because we were worried about the quality of the education so I embarked on a fifteen year journey to home educate the children, each one from kindergarten through eighth grade. After home school, the children went to a private school for high school. I must say that they are the light of my life and I would not have done this any other way because they are all wonderful young adults. One has graduated from college and the other two are still in college.
I know that this sounds like the long road to getting to the point but I wanted to let you know that I have taken a different road. This is one road that most would not take. Since the child rearing years were behind me, I could now concentrate on what I liked to do. During a six year stint in the real estate market, I became interested in the internet especially the marketing and advertising end of it. In the real estate world you must find inventive ways to market yourself, which; of course, brings in more people who use you for their real estate needs. I became fixated with the marketing and advertising end of real estate and after struggling many years to make it in the real estate world, I decided to resign as a realtor and concentrate, full time, on an internet business.
Here is how the experiment went. I have probably purchased every product, every software program, every ebook, and every mentoring program available on the web. Well, that is a little exaggerated but I have purchased a lot of learning tools that have helped me to be able to whip up a website, write content, publish articles, get backlinking and get the site on page one of a Google search for a specific keyword. While this was a very long process, I was proud to be able to say that I had accomplished my goal. However, there was one small problem. I only had a total of three sales on the website. I had put up another website and had a tremendous amount of traffic. Over 3500 visitors monthly to the website and I was impressed with myself. One problem, though. No Sales! It seems that I gave so much information to the visitors that they did not need to buy the product.
Now, I want to tell the story of why I decided to join Empower Network. I decided to purchase Empower Network because I saw the vision. When I was introduced to the program by David Wood and David Sharpe, I saw the potential for a sustainable residual income that could be collected again and again. I was impressed by the business model that they had developed. How ingenious! Members blogging on the same interface. What a way to get traffic! Did you know that Empower Network was ranked # 1 on Alexa’s Hot Topics list? That’s not why I purchased it but I thought that would show you exactly what this vision is all about.
