Why Wanting Or Needing Something Means You’ll Never Get It

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

This post is a transcript of an email sent by Kyle Riegle, my Empower Network D2 Coach. This is so good that it’s worth sharing so everyone can get an opportunity to understand.

I have recently received and started to read Perry Marshall’s new book;

“80/20 Sales And Marketing. The Definitive Guide to Working Less And Making More.”

Then today, as if by magic, this email arrives in my inbox on exactly the same topic…that’s how the Universe works my friends.

First thing…The phrase:

“I Want. ”

Energetically when you express “wanting” something,you’re speaking to the universe that you currently “Don’t Have” what you’re wanting.
So…You’re giving more energy, focus and attraction to that which you are not specifically wanting more of.

Funny kinda-weird thing eh?

(like I personally have – and a bankruptcy at theage of 22 years old)
OR…

It is clear that indeed the 80/20 Rule or more correctly, the Pareto Principle,  applies in all areas of live and living. It doesn’t matter what you think of or talk about. The 80/20 rule applies to everything in nature. Forget about the specific percentage numbers in the examples above, it’s the principle that’s important.
