How To Attract Wealth
Twenty years ago the question of how to attract wealth was on my mind all the time, sitting at work wondering how I could ever get enough money together to do the things I wanted to do.
You see I had a crazy dream, well at least my family and friends thought it was crazy, my dream was to own a sailing yacht and sail off into the sunset.
But I could never figure out a how to attract wealth, or to put it more clearly, how to attract enough money to be able to do the things I wanted to do.
I was stuck in a job, working to pay the mortgage, put food on the table, pay the car payments and twice a year head off for a short holiday with my wife and kids.
It was just survival really and to say it was getting me down is probably the understatement of the year. Well one day, it was the 21st June 1994; I was sat at my desk at work thinking, I got to do this for the next 35 years. You know what I mean?
My mind was full of questions on how to attract wealth, I was screaming at the universe asking:
“Tell me what the missing piece of the puzzle is, there has got to be more than this, there has got to be more to life than just going to work, paying bills and mortgages.
Then eventually in 1996 I decided that I am going to attract the wealth I needed to make my dream come true. I decided that nothing was going to stop me from living the life that I wanted to live and you know what happened?
I failed miserably, my idea was to start my own business, so I went from working 60 hours per week for someone else, to working 75 hours per week, working for myself and I failed. Boy did I fail spectacularly.
I thought I had the secret for how to create wealth all figured out, I read the books that said you’ll never be wealthy working for someone else you got to work for yourself.
Well I was devastated, what on earth gave me the idea that starting a traditional business was how to attract wealth. For me it was just like swapping one 60 hour a week job for another.
Then I read a book by Richard Branson, I can’t really remember the title, but he was saying that rather than creating your own business from scratch, it’s better to leverage someone else’s idea.
That one statement got me from where I was then, to where I am now, it got me from working a ‘dead end job’ to living on my sailing yacht, out here in the Mediterranean, and it’s one of the core principles on how to attract wealth today.
So what is the other one? Well, that core principle is built into the fabric of the universe we live in and the person who described it best is a guy called Zig Ziglar:
You can have everything in life you want if you’ll just help enough other people to get what they want!”
You may have heard that quote before and you may have thought that’s cute, yeah he’s right, but it’s much more than that really. Yes I know you may have watched the secret and I have too, you may have read the hundreds of books on the subject, and I have too, but if you don’t use the fundamental law of the universe, in the way it was meant to be used, then you’ll never attract wealth.
How to attract wealth also has nothing to do with sitting there and wishing for it to arrive.
It has nothing to do with visualizing great wealth and it certainly has nothing to do with studying the hundreds of self help books out there. I know that’s going to attract some pretty diverse comment and that’s OK.
It has everything to do with making a decision, letting the universe know that you are serious, that you are not going to be stopped that, you are going to attract the wealth, that you are a human being who knows how to attract wealth and nothing will stop you, nothing.
You are made to be happy, you are made to live the life you want to live, you have everything you need to do that right now, it’s already built into you, right now right here this minute. You don’t need anything at all.
