Today I listened to the Think and Grow Rich call, and after it was over, I felt like my eyes had been opened. I felt like Neo in the matrix, when he was on the operating table, and had all those pins and needles coming out of him. He asked Morpheus, why do my eyes hurt, and he said because you never used them.

I felt like Adam and Eve when they found out that they had no clothes in the garden, after they ate the apple. You know the part in Genesis when their eyes were opened and they became aware of the concepts of Good and Evil.

On the call today, we reviewed a chapter in the book, The Science of Getting Rich. The topic of discussion was the law of abundance. Especially in this business, I have realized that what you think is more important than the daily actions that you take.

Just as we don’t think about the air we breathe, we walk around and breathe without even thinking of it. We know it is going to be there. Why don’t we live our lives like this. I had to analyze my thoughts to see if I had a lack mentality, and I honestly have to admit that I have been operating in a state of lack. I have learned the first step to wealth, true wealth it to be know thyself and to be honest with oneself. Wattles, talks about the Science of Getting Rich just like it is a science like mathematics. It takes precise actions, and testing to yield the result of wealth.

Since we are in the beginning phases of the book, we have not gone over any specifics on what actions to take to acquire wealth, but he keeps repeating over and over that if you want to achieve wealth you must do the certain thing that will lead to wealth.

We have already read Think and Grow Rich, and this is a perfect complement to it. Though he does tell you that if you know someone who has achieved wealth, you follow their pattern. This will yield the same results, if you follow the exact pattern set before you. “Like Causes yields Like Results”. If you do not get the same results, you are doing something out of line. Okay this makes sense, a lot of sense.

I like to simplify things, so if I was baking a cake, and I added my eggs, milk, flour, butter, vanilla extract, and sugar, I would end up with a delicious cake. So my neighbor comes over, and asks for the recipe, and I give it to her. She makes her cake with eggs, water, flour, oil, and sugar. She is going to end up with a cake, but it may not be as good as mine. She didn’t follow the steps I laid out for her.

That’s it follow the Blueprint laid before me!!! It was a simple but Ah, ha moment for me. I love to share what I know, because I realize that there is more than enough in the Universe for us all to become successful. This is the law of abundance.

A wise man named Rick spoke on the call and he spoke about being full, and he made a very profound statement, being full means that you are telling the Universe that you cannot hold any more, you’ve had enough. He even posed the question, what does full mean to you? That leads us to the scripture in psalms about “my cup runneth over”. To live your life so abundantly that your cup of life is running over, and you bless others to fill their cups.
