Dear Megan

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Dear Megan,

When you’re away at work, I tend to the little one running around the house tearing up things. I yell at the puppy for biting her or chewing on the shoes. I listen to the teenager complain about something bothering her that I think is totally ridiculous but listen to her calmly and passionately anyway. I yell at the boy to get off of the video games for 5 minutes and go take a shower. I sit at my computer and read my emails, write my blogs, check my back office and catch up on my facebook status’s.

But most importantly, when you’re away at work I’m totally missing you. And when you come home from work, I dread going to bed because I know that you either have another 12 or 24 hour day the very next day to run off to. I hate when you work your 24 hour shifts at the ambulance base and leave me at night time and I really hate it when you work a 24 hour shift and then run off to a 12 hour shift at dispatch.

But I know you do everything you do for us. You love me so much that you want me to be able to stay home and work on building my businesses and be able to be with the children. You love me so much that even when you get home and I might be busy working, you leave me be to work. You love me so much that you will do whatever it takes for this family.

Now let me tell you something! I love you so much that I will make these businesses grow. I love you so much that you will not always work 3 jobs. I love you so much that I want you to be able to be home with the children. I love you so much that I will do whatever it takes to make sure you are taken care of! Whether it be with Body By Vi or with Empower Network or both! I love you!

Love Always,

Your Wife
