Blogging. Have you tried it? Was it harder than you thought? I have been blogging for awhile now and I wish I had known a few basics when I started. In this post, I will share some of my best tips.
Blogging Platforms
There are many blogging platforms out there. Forget about all of them except WordPress. WordPress is a free, easy to use platform. It can be easily adapted to do whatever you want it to do. Little apps called “plug-ins” make this very easy to use and to modify.

This is what I’m using to write this post. It doesn’t get much easier than this!
A Blogging Platform Needs a Host
WordPress has 2 versions, both of which are free. You can have your blog hosted by WordPress.com or you can get your blog hosted elsewhere. Hostgator is one host which I recommend. They are very reliable, affordable and strive for excellent customer support. You can actually install WordPress right from your Hostgator dashboard.
