An Interview with Bill Gorcsi

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Today I’d like to introduce you to Bill Gorcsi, the Graphic Artist for TimTech.  In this role, he has produced badges, trophies, game cards & pieces among other things.  If anyone has visited Click Track Profit or one of the 17 participating traffic exchanges this week, you have undoubtedly seen the ads for Bill’s Awesomesauce Harvest Party.  This is the Bill that the ads are referring to and the contest is a product of his imagination.  Please reach out and give Bill a warm welcome.

How long have you been involved with online marketing?

I’ve been involved in internet marketing for almost 2 years now.

What was your first introduction to this industry?

I was first introduced to this industry by a good friend Justin Ledvina when he launched Adkreator.  I helped him behind the scenes for a while with customer support and our weekly quests to provide new content every Tuesday. It wasn’t until I was invited by Justin, Jon, and Tim to be a part of Timtech that I really stepped out and introduced myself to the industry.

Is your background in computers or technology?

I have a very strong background in computers and technology; I provided technical support for MSN as well as hold some certification tickets in the field. I studied the Microsoft MCSE +I Certifications in college as well as pursued network and advanced internet administration.

Family?

My wife and I have been together for almost 21years and have a 16 year old son and a 15 year old daughter, both whom have recently started learning to play guitar.

Does your family participate in your online ventures?

Participate, not really but they, along with all my friends, both on and offline support my decision to venture into the world of internet marketing.

Where do you see your online career going from here?

I have built a strong brand as well as made a lot of good friends in this industry. I hope to be a part of Timtech for a long time and continue to provide quality artwork, customer service while staying true to myself and those that I represent. I have a very strong ethical standpoint and will not stray from the path I have chosen. Together with the strong support of my Timtech Family I believe my contribution to this industry will continue to grow stronger both in my online presence and the work I produce and supply to the industry.

When you’re not online what do you like to do?

I became interested in art at a very young age and over the years have ventured into many different art forms. I currently am working on relearning the guitar, and I also in my spare time am a tattoo artist. Tattooing is something I have done as a hobby for the past 19 years.

Favorite Book, Movie, TV Show?

Favorite book would be “Journey to the Center of the Earth” by Jules Verne

Favorite movie would be “Second Hand Lions” with Robert Duvall and Michael Caine

Favorite TV show is “The Big Bang Theory”

Favorite Type of Music/Artist?

My Favorite music is anything that is not Rap, favorite artist is a Christian Rock band called Thousand Foot Krutch.

Anything else that you would like to share?

I have been blessed with a Loving and supportive friends and family that give me the support and guidance I need to consider myself successful. I’m sure many would argue with my definition of success and happiness, because neither has to do with large amounts of money as far as I’m concerned.

The Timtech team has provided me the path to my successes, and I hope for each and everyone that decides to venture into online marketing they approach it the same way they would in an offline situation. There are many ethical business men and women in this industry that are more than willing to show you the way; ask questions, take action, and enjoy the relationships and successes available to anyone willing to do the work to succeed.

For anyone that has taken a look at your work and now wants to know if you do any free-lance work, do you?

I have done some free-lance work for people and it is something I will do from time to time depending on how busy I am with my other work. I pretty much pick and choose myself if it is a project I have time for because I don’t like doing things I can’t put my all into.
