Is There Life After Death?
Is there life after death; that is perhaps, dependent on your belief system.
For Victoria Hargis, a business consultant, motivational speaker and most of all a mother whose journey through grief at losing her son brought her to a transformational rebirth of ‘self’, life took on new meaning when her son died at age thirteen.
Davey was stricken with seizures when he was three and lived for the next ten years suffering as many as sixty seizures per day. Although he lived in a helmet for many hours a day to prevent cranial injury he was nevertheless a child filled with joy. He was one of those rare indiviuals who knew exactly who he was and he lived life abundantly.
And Victoria Hargis learned how to live life from her son so in a very literal sense it was a life after death.
My greatest mentor, my baby boy Davey taught me, to not live life in regret but take action to live authentically, on purpose, with passion today and everday.
Victoria Hargis has a compelling story and an awesome message: live with purpose and passion.
She says we should all participate in what life is all about. But what does that really mean? I think it means being fearless, or at least trying to be fearless.
When you start the journey to fearlessness, you begin to share who you are with the people around you. You share your story and that can change the world. Hopefully, it will be a world that is a kinder, gentler more forgiving place.
Perhaps it will be one person at a time, maybe a thousand people at a time but if you share whom you are you will leave a mark that will allow the world to change in a way that you envision it to be.
You only have to look at David Wood to see that it’s true.
But everyone has to participate – everyone has to do it.
People want to connect and you can be the catalyst.
Consider the mark you could leave on life and the impact you could have on people around you because you shared your story.
Being Fearless and Living Abudantly With Loss
What does it mean to live abundantly with loss? We all suffer loss everyday but it shouldn’t destroy us.
Having lost both my parents in the last 10 years, I know how completely overwhelming grief can be. It robbed me and my family of a year and a half of my life and although the sorrow of loss never abates, the power that comes with understanding how deeply you feel, will fill your life.
Take that power and make it work for you.
We can choose how we want to live and by choosing, we create the life we live. That is the manifestation principle at work.
Every aspect of our life is a manifestation of our beliefs.
Victoria Hargis is an emblem of the human spirit; she rose like a phoenix from the depths of dispair and grief to grab life and step out of her fear to teach others what she had learned from her little boy. She is fearless.

So be fearless. Leave a mark on your business and your customers by sharing who you are.
When living with loss…take action to live authentically, on purpose, with passion, today and every day.
It will change your life and it could change the world.
