Parents and Talking Animals?

A talking animal or speaking animal refers to any form of non-human animal which can speak a human language. From bugs bunny to tweedy bird to the famous Mickey Mouse, what do all of these have in common? All are animated, non-human; animals which can speak a human language.
In light of HONESTY we must begin to pay attention. As parents, we want our children to trust us, have confidence in our judgement, and teachings of the world around them. Every child wants to know WHY?
Why are the animals talking on T.V.? Why does the mouse wear shoes and the cow jump over the moon? WHY?
When it comes to our children, we can choose to avoid questions we don’t care to answer, but the day will come when a swift “don’t worry about it” will not suffice. An answer will be given, but the question is, will it be an HONEST ANSWER or a LIE?
Be Honest
To be honest means to be fair, straightforward, sincere and keeping our promises. An honest response to the question of “talking animals” would be, “animations are NOT REAL”. The cartoons, the animated characters were created using a computer or electronic device and they have people that are the voice of these characters you see on the screen.
Oh you are just spoiling the fun!
It’s not fun when hatred shows-up because of a lie. Talking animals are very deceitful they lead people to believe that these characters or cartoons are alive and possess life in them. Animals do not talk and should not be seen talking anywhere.” This would be a true straightforward statement. A statement that your children would appreciate and be thankful for. Telling children anything other than the truth would only hurt them. They would grow to think that reckless creations that are fabricated and manipulated are fun and deceitfulness is healthy.
Animals don’t wear clothes, but we put clothes on them. Birds don’t talk, but we try to teach them, dogs don’t dance, but we want to act like they do. WHY? Is it that cartoons are still subconsciously in the minds of adults and they want to act out what they have been presented as children?
None of these acts can add to the quality of life of anyone or anything. It is all foolishness. Let’s just be HONEST about it. Building a character which values being honest and straightforward will open the door for others to TRUST that what they see is what it REALLY is.
I’d rather have an HONEST picture of reality, wouldn’t you?
