Generating Leads Online Doesn’t Have to be Difficult!

Anyone attempting to market an online business knows that the single most important task is creating a niche market and driving those leads to your “squeeze” or “capture” page. If you’re marketing a good product (like the Empower Network) your capture page should convert about 40% of the clicks into actual leads.
The struggle among most internet marketers, however, tends to be finding a good solid source for those leads. One of the most impressive things I’ve discovered about the Empower Network is that the leaders in the company are online marketing geniuses!
They know how to do this in their sleep. And the absolutely most amazing thing I can say about these people is that they’re willing to show you how to do it! Tony Rush, the leader of my Empower Team is constantly providing us with the marketing venues he’s using as well as providing his recommendations – both with successful campaigns and those that aren’t worth our time or money.
Too many marketers are getting caught up in the technical aspects of their blogs and/or capture pages. Unfortunately, however, if you’re marketing any product online, the successful creation of those types of tools is vital. With the Empower Network, the blog as well as the capture pages and even email advertisements are created for you by some of the best in this business.

In the meantime, however, I can provide a few of the tips I’ve learned over the last 30 days.
Generating Leads Online Doesn’t Have to Be Difficult – Consistency is the Key!
When I started my online marketing business, I had no idea that so many people found it so difficult. I quickly realized that the problem for most people however, was that they simply overcomplicate the entire process!
If you concentrate on these three simple steps, you will generate more online leads for your business than you thought possible.
The First Step is to understand the marketing methods available to online marketers. The most popular are:
- Blogs
- Forums
- PPC (Search Engine)
- Youtube
- Solo Ads (email marketing)
- Article Marketing
The trick is not to attempt to master all of these options at the same time. You need to be consistent, tackle each one and work it until you understand it, know it and are generating leads from it. I suggest taking a new marketing method each week – master it and then add the next one. When you are utilizing all of the methods above and have set up a system for each one, they will be generating leads for you while you sleep… or vacation… or spend time with the family…etc.
In many cases, you can find a course that is fairly inexpensive that will teach you what you need to know and understand about each of these methods. I – for example, purchased an excellent program to learn how to use Facebook to generate leads. It was 60.00 but saved me hours and hours of time researching. The Empower Network has made getting my Blog ranked super easy and the videos that other Empower Network members are constantly sharing has allowed me to figure out how to do that by myself as well.
The Second Step is to create a squeeze page that has an offer that will convert the traffic you’re directing to it. Your goal is to capture (at bare minimum) a name, a phone number and an email address. As an Empower Network member, I have several highly converting sqeeze pages at my disposal but if you don’t and have to create your own, there are a few programs that can make this easy as well. I’d strongly suggest doing some web surfer and taking the time to identify the pages that capture your interest. If you don’t have a program you’re selling that provides them, this can be a frustrating piece of the puzzle and creating your own might not be something you want to try to do as a newbie. The best thing about the capture pages used by the Empower Network is that I know they work. Other’s are using them with unbelievable results so I can basically eliminate this issue from to-do-list.
The third and most important step is to BE CONSISTENT! You’ve got to do this every single day. Marketing is never a done deal. You should always be testing, perfecting and analyzing your results. It’s very easy to get distracted by what others are doing and unfortunately many online marketers are quick to jump from one lily pad to another. It’s extremely important that you understand the timeframe of the marketing method you choose and allow it to work.
For example, if you choose the blog as your method of choice…you need to understand how long it takes to get an audience and get your blog ranked. If you expect to be making sales after your first post, you’re going to be disappointed. Most professional bloggers will tell you it’s taken them years to get to a point where their blogs are generating incomes. Solo Ads, however, can often generate leads minutes after the mailing goes out.
The rule of thumb is to give any one method at least 90 days of consistent testing before you move on or give it up. Building an online business is not different than building a brick and mortar business. It takes time, patience and determination!
