Why I Chose Blogging To Build My Brand
Up until recently like with in the last 3 months blogging has never really made much sense to me.I’ve been building Network marketing companies the old school traditional way for years. Going to Walmart,Boarders,Barnes&Noble dressed like the men in black just looking for that guy or girl to drop that ice breaking line on them to squeeze them into my business, oh yeah not to mention these people that I’m talking too,THEY DON’T want a home business.Thats the one part hat I just couldn’t get for years. I was convinced that all I had to do was shake enough hands and eventually I would find the one person that would lead me to riches and I would have my rags to riches story.The wild thing to me at that time was that i was dead wrong.I saw it work for countless others that have been in the industry for decades only to finally realize that it worked for them because that type of marketing worked before we had the power of internet.
My Intro To Blogging
In Feb 2011 I got started with a health and wellness network marketing company that I quickly began to gain some success with which really got me excited feeling like I was on my way to the top!(The only downside to building this company was that I was on the phone almost 17 hrs a day and when I wast on the phone I would be out “prospecting” and marketing to local businesses)Lmao lol hahaha yeah right a few months down the road after such a fast rise through the ranks in that company,they made a comp plan change and all the air in my sails quickly left. My entire downline washed out within a few months. Now during 2011 I did notice that my sponsors sponsor was consistently signing people up and placing them down in my group. I thought he was just in a good location or the marketing that we where being taught was really working for him.Little did I know that there where a few more things that he was doing that where producing results for him.He soon then shared with me his blog. After seeing this I said i’d try it out. I’ll be honest I didn’t think it would be possible to get people to join me in business from blogging, I mean seriously blogging?Goes to show what I knew about the internet.So guess what I did? yup i started a blog on blogger.I kept on digging for more information about blogging a few months later on over into 2012 I began to see how powerful blogging really was.I became aware of a few online marketers that where avid serious money making bloggers.These folks where cranking out more leads and more sign ups from blogging that i’ve ever seen any one day in building a network marketing company the traditional way.I was now bought on the blogging platform.
Blogging Inspiration
There are many bloggers online but only a few have blogs that are generating more traffic that some network marketing sties and these where the bloggers I wanted to learn from first hand. Learning about these types of bloggers really interested me because of the lifestyle it provided, how it made their business work more efficiently for them with less and less fo their time being required like what I previously experienced the year prior with my network marketing experience.This really got me excited and created a passion within me to become a online marketing blogging machine.I quickly dove into learning all I could about how a blog works how to monetize it set it up and tweek it.I think with in my first couple of months I invested in to a few different courses “Be blog savy by Tracey Walker,MLM traffic Formula,MLSP,Pro Blog Academy to learn all I could about blogging,oh yeah along with following all these top bloggers and learning all their tips and tricks they knew about blogging.This was something I knew that I would have to do if I wanted the results they had,invest in myself.
Blogging
After digging into all this information through out these courses and plugging into webinars,any thing I could find on you tube and studying blog after blog I finally started to understand how this online thing works and how blogging can be a very powerful source of traffic for my business.I mean think about it you create a piece of content one time and it produces for you over and over with out you physically having to do that work over again.Unlike having to show plan after plan the traditional way for a possible maybe sign up who leads to a long baby sitting management relationship and that’s not what I wanted.The only trouble that I had up to this point was having enough exposure and getting enough of a presence to get positioned to gain the results from blogging
