How To Be More Productive and Focus On Your Business
Do you want to be successful at your home business but you lack the focus to ever have it work out?
Have you ever felt you were just spinning your wheels and not getting any results for all your labors?
Most times it is because you have a lack of focus on doing the right activities.
Most everyone is multitasking, we have multiple tabs open, multiple monitors, text messaging, Skype, cell phones, hundreds of channels on cable television and the list goes on and on.
You might think you are getting a lot done and it is working but in reality you are not focused on the important income generating activities to grow your business.
Here are a few tips to help get you on the right track and keep you focused.
1. Plan a specific time every day to work on your business.
2. Make a list of what you want to accomplish during that time.
3. Close out all other browser windows, except for the take you are focusing on such as email, Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook. Shut off your phone – no text messaging.
4. Only have programs, apps or websites up one at a time, have all others closed.
5. Always be monitoring yourself by asking yourself. ” Is this activity helping me grow my business or not?” Things that grow your business or should I say Income producing activities are posting to your blog, marketing or syndicating your blog post and business, helping your new team members get going and following up with prospects.
Look at this as planting seeds each day, the seeds may take time to take root but none the less they are planted. Stay focused at doing this and you will find that the efforts will pay off over time.
