Pro Flowers is the best in the business bar none!
I have to tip my hat to Pro Flowers as they have an incredible go above and beyond the call of duty customer service department.
Quick story…
Last month, April 2013 in case you’re reading this sometime after May, was my 22 wedding anniversary. And I wanted to prime the pump a little with a pre-anniversary just because set of flowers. Actually I needed to build up some brownie points anyway…but this was a just because gift.
I decided to send my wife some flowers to her new work. Now I knew where she worked as I had visited her new office and had her address. But I didn’t have her suite #.
So I looked up her company online and found it. I’m such a savvy resourceful person you know. Better to search myself than to ask her right?
So go online to Pro Flowers and book an awesome package. Upgrade to special deliver and custom vase. So far so good…she will get them the next day by noon.
The following day when noon came and went and I didn’t hear from her I started to get a little curious if she got them. So I called her just to say hi….still smooth right?
But before I do I quickly check ProFlowers.com and check for the POD (proof of delivery) Hmmm… the person who signed for the flowers does not work in my wife’s office. I call Pro Flowers and verify that the address was right. I also mention that the person who signed for the flowers does not work with my wife.
Now I’m calling my wife…again just to say hi of course and she doesn’t say anything about the flowers. So I ask what suite # she is in. Come to find out the # I got online and gave to Pro flowers was not correct.
UGHHH….my fool proof sneaky plan of having a Pro Flowers deliver a cool set of flowers right to her desk…foiled. Dilemma time!
Do I tell my wife that her “surprise flowers” was delivered on a different floor where now she has to get them herself? Or do I order another set and have them delivered yet a day later and now it’s not that much of a surprise?
Pro flowers Saves the Day
While on the phone with my wife I come clean and tell her about her surprise flowers. She says she be glad to go get them since it’s in the same building but on a different floor. I’m feeling kind of bummed about this not turning out like I wanted but here’s where it gets cool.
About a minute later Pro Flowers calls me back and says they can deliver another set to the right address. I told them, thanks but don’t worry about it as it was my fault and my wife will go see if she can get them from the office they were delivered to.
The customer service rep said…
“I’ve already added a replacement order free of charge and they will ship out tonight.”
I was blown away. Full complete order, custom vase, and special delivery and shipped next in line with the batch going out that night! So cool!!
Long story short my wife got double the flowers and both sets lasted almost 2 weeks as they were cut from the field the day they shipped.
Needless to say Pro Flowers has my business for life anytime I order flowers online.
So why am I writing all this?
