I Might Stumble, I Might Fall, But I Will Bust the Damn Wall Down

Today I want to share with you how I am feeling inside about my journey inside of network marketing and my life. I might stumble and I might fall, but I will bust the damn wall down. Do you ever feel this way? If not, then maybe you need to evaluate your goals and where you are headed in life.
Everyday when I sit down to decide what I am going to talk about on my blog I go with my gut. And that is why I must share this with you today…..
If you are at a road block in your life right now there is a reason why you are staring at the wall. Do you ever feel like the is a giant wall between you and your dreams? I know I do.
You must decide that the wall isn’t going to stop you from achieving your goals. I don’t come from a rich family. Matter of fact, my family history is relatively poor. My grandparents on both sides of the family worked labor jobs. Cotton mill, roofer, hosiery…..those type of manual labor positions.
As I was growing up my grandfather that worked in the cotton mill would tell me to stay focused on my education. He only went to 1st grade and life was a struggle for him. He made sure that I understood how important education and knowledge can be.
As I have gotten older I do realize that I had a hand up by focusing on my education. When I was 29 years old I went to college to finish my degree. My grandfather didn’t get to see me walk the stage but I knew he was with me that day. He was my rock. And I listened to everything he said. He was wise.
There is somebody reading this post right now that either doesn’t care about education or you don’t feel like education is relevant to your life. Let me encourage by saying this…..
Education is vital. Today we have an advantage that our ancestors and forefathers didn’t have….the Internet. We can now learn at the drop of a hat. I can look up anything I want within seconds and learn a new skill.
Stop making excuses. You can learn how to do anything you want to do. You just have to be willing. Listen, let me ask you this. What is more important to you? Just getting by or being the first person in your family to bust the damn wall down??
Think about that….
I decided when I was in high school that I was going to bust the damn wall down no matter how long it took me to do it. I sat goals for myself. I knew I had to continue to grow for my life and my families life to get better.
Have I reached all of my goals? Absolutely NOT. I still have goals to achieve. I know that one day I will be able to look back and say that I gave it my BEST shot. I busted the damn wall down and hit my stride.
Stop being a scaredy cat and go after your dreams. What do you dream of??
Nice house, motorcycle, fishing boat…..WHAT?? If you could have anything what would it be??
Think about that for a moment. Stop rolling around in pity and self doubt. Make it happen for yourself. Go get you the biggest dream you can find. Start moving toward your dream and know that you will bust the damn wall down.
The wall has to fall. As Ronald Reagan said years ago, “Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”
YOU need to do the same. You need to bust down your wall of doubt, fear and trepidation. Set your goals high enough so that when you achieve them men and women will look at you in awe. Go get it. Make it happen. Make up your mind….
I might stumble and I might fall, but I WILL bust down the damn wall.
Thanks for stopping by…..
