For starters this match was all about the welterweight title, or in other words the WBO.
This boxing match took place not that long ago in Las Vegas; in fact it took place on November 12, 2011. This match was held at the MGM Grand, and naturally it was being sold on PPV for HBO.
These two fighters had met before, but this time things were a bit different. This fight was really a repeat of one that they had years prior at MGM Grand in 2004.
This fight ended in what they referred to as a draw, but in reality Marquez won the fight although he was knocked down three times.

There would be yet another match between the two when they met in 2008. The Pacquiao vs Marquez, in Mandalay Bay, was a tough match that ultimately resulted in what the sport calls a split decision.

Oddly enough, one who was concerned was the trainer for Pacquiao, stating that he wanted to
“leave all doubt behind”.
So, the question was yet again who really won the match? This match was still being watched well after it was over, and of course those who are boxing fan are still talking about.
