How hard is it Trying To Sell Crap Lotions And Potions To Family And (Now ex) Friends?  More and more hit the market each year – each month heck – each week!  Just how many products do they think people can buy?  Or will buy?  Or continue to buy?  Overpriced – autoshipped – usually to people who no longer want them and how many times when the subscription is cancelled – does it just get ‘lost’?

Sounded GREAT at the start?  All that hype of an ‘amazing’ new business plan – hundreds have made ‘millions’ in it already!  Fantastic comp plan – upline all set up to teach, support and give you what you need!  Right – well that’s a joke for a start!  Just omitted the teeny weeny words that might make you think twice or not even twice – rats leaving a sinking ship as soon as they realise that their other downlines are dying on their feet!

But, hey – they don’t share that with you!  No!  You are given what you need to hear – all is rosy – all is wonderful – you can make soooo much money here!  Please don’t misunderstand me – I am so not slating any company – perhaps just the way MLM is dying on its feet and someone forgot to tell it to lie down and get it over with gracefully!

So you joined (or should that be got suckered in?) – you paid for your stock (HOW MUCH?????), your garage is now full.  Your credit card is now maxed out and your bank account is now empty – you so have to make a go of this!

So – let’s get started shall we?  Step one – how many friends have you got?  Step two – how big is your family? What about the rabbits, friends and other relations?  check out the family tree – any distant cousins hiding in Alaska?  Minneapolis?  Chicago? (easy to hide there!)  No well…….

The words we knew would come (well, I did anyway) ‘You JUST NEED to try harder’ – ring any bells?  Sounds a LOT like my school report! She has the TALENT to be…… She COULD  be….

Let’s be real here – how can you try any harder than your hardest? How can you conjure people up out of thin air that don’t already have a cupboard full of what you are trying to sell them!

IF ONLY …. I had listened to my wife, my mother, my mother-in-law (well maybe not!).  Here I am now booking hotel rooms, cold-calling people from the telephone director and let’s be honest – I HATE cold-calling – makes me all tongue-tied.  Got to believe in what you sell – passionately – otherwise it doesn’t work!!  It’s in your voice!!! Doesn’t work!

SO – It ISN’T YOU…

IT’S THE PRODUCT!

THE UPLINE!

THE RECESSION!

Look – I am SOOO NOT making excuses for you! IF you ARE a victim mentality… you WILL be found out! BUT…IF something is CRAP – trying harder WON’T make it any less crap!

I mean, SERIOUSLY – how many ‘NEW’ health & beauty products can the world take?… How many MORE are going to be launched?…How many MORE are going to fail?… At least 90%!

In the meantime…YOU are losing your FRIENDS…Your LEISURE time…Your GARAGE AND …YOUR respect  for YOURSELF!.

So don’t you think it’s about time to BIN The Autoships…get rid of your upline
