I was looking on my book shelf for a book to blog about and Kevin Halls book caught my eye.

Some years ago I was on a training call where Kevin Hall was the guest speaker. Kevin talked about a few things, but I don’t remember the topic or details. Towards the end of the call  he was talking about the recent publishing of his book “Aspire” and he was offering autographed copies and a special price. Naturally, since I love a good book , i jumped at the chance to be able to get one autographed from Kevin. I never had a book that was autographed by the author so I thought it would be cool to have.

This awesome book “Aspire” is all about truly understanding the meaning of words. Their origins  and the power behind words. I found it to be a very fascinating book.

I’ll give you a word that’s described in the book.

Leader. The first part L-e-a means path and the second part d-e-r- means finder.

So, a leader is a pathfinder. Being a leader means finding the path, but before you can help someone else find their path… you must know yours.

“Aspire” really is a great read for anyone that has a love for words, their origin and meaning.
