This Is MY STORY, I am A 49 Yr Old/Young Man.  I Grew Up In Buffalo NY, The Struggles That I Have Been Through I Hope That Someone Out There Can Relate To, And If So I Hope That This Can Be Inspirational To You!

Grammar school I Was The Class Clown Who Always Wanted To Be The Leader, But Did Everything Wrong, Don’t Get Me Wrong I Graduated after Repeating 8th Grade. This Is When Teachers Were Able To Discipline The Students.

I Had This One Teacher When I Was In, Well Let’s Just Say My First 8th Grade, Mr. Chesbro, My Science Teacher, WOW! He Did Not Take Any Mess From None Of The Students, He Broke Chaulk Boards With His Fist, You Got Hit With Rulers On Hands. You Remember! They Would Say Do Not Pull Your Hand Back. Not Me, He Could Never Get My Hand And Always Missed.

Mind You This Is A 300lb Guy, All muscle. One Day He Had Enough And Grabbed Me, Picked Me Up And Carried Me To The Janitors Room Which Was Right Across From Classroom And Shut The Door, Oh Boy! This has Always stuck With Me About What He Had Said To Me. Now I’m Thinking That I Am About To Get- Well You Know The Rest Of The Saying.

But He Told Me That You Have All These People Who Follow You And Do What You Say And Want To Be Like You! John Why Don’t You Take That And Use To Your Advantage And Show Them A Better Way, Stop Being A jerk. If You Are Going To Be A Leader Then Lead And Do Things Differently.

O.K. Not Right Away But I Started To Understand Exactly What He Was Talking About. I Started To Change A So Did My Friends. BUT, He Did Keep Me Behind That Yr And Made Me Repeat 8th Grade.

I Was Pissed But Understood, I Get It! It Was Not Fun Going Next Yr And Seeing People That Was Under You In Grade Now There With You. BE A LEADER NOT FOLLOWER, BUT BE A GOOD LEADER! I Went Onto High School, Got Involved In Drugs, I Thing I Did Every Drug In The Book, I Did Not Use Heroin Or Anything Like That! I Just Did The 1980′s Drugs. NO EXCUSE! I Got Involved With Music, Traveled All Of Canada Doing Music, Then Got Involved With The Band JOE PUBLIC, Best Song LIVE AND LEARN.

I Had My First Child When I Was 16, My Daughter And Twin Boys Are From Canada. Daughter 32 and Twin Boys 29, I Also Have 3 Children From The States 3 Daughters 34-11-13. No More, That Is Enough! For Me. All Of Them Taken Care Of.

Oh About The Drugs I Stopped, Once My Kids Arrive, It Was Time To GROW UP! My Friends Always Ask Me How I Have What I Have Today, Some Are Just Haters. I Tell Them While You Guys Were Still On These Streets Doing What You Were Doing I STAYED IN SCHOOL, THIS IS THE TRUTH! And Still Maintain A Job, The Kids Have To EAT.

I Graduated From Bryant & Stratton College With A Double Major In Accounting And Business. Then I Wanted To Do Something Big With MY LIFE, I Became An Insurance Agent, I Became A Life, Disability Insurance Agent. I Went Door To Door Building My List And Selling Insurance. GREAT BUT HARD And REWARDING.

I Got Married, So One Night I Knocked On This Guys Door, He Answered, Come On In, I Did My Sales Talked, Everything. This Guy Then Told Me That He Was A DISTRICT MANAGER OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE And Just Wanted To See What I Had To Say, He Was Playing With Me. But Then He Told Me That He Was Blown Away With Me And Wanted Me To Join His Team At PRUDENTIAL.

Of Course I Was Upset That This Guy Had Wasted My Time But Also Honored. So I Came On Board, BREAKING RECORDS. He Then Asked Me How Would I Like Going For My Stock Brokers License. WOW! This Was BIG. The License Is Called Series 6And 63 The First Two Times I Failed by 2 points, I Never Gave Up, Third Shot I Passed. BREAKING RECORDS Once Again. NEVER GIVE UP! OH BOY! Then The Rug Was Pulled Out From Under Me. My District Manager Got Caught For Insider Trading, Nothing That No One In The Department Had No Idea What Was Going On. My Whole Team Had Nothing To Do With This And We Were Able To Keep Our License.

. But All Are Leads And Clients Were Taken Away From Us. We Were Tarnished. I had To Still FEED KIDS.

So I Was Able To Find Job As A Cemetery Worker, Love The Job, Just The PRIDE In Doing A Job Like This . It Was GREAT! The Pay No Where Near What I Was Making, NO WHERE NEAR. I Heard About GENERAL MOTORS Was Hiring, My Boss Even Told Me That I Would NEVER Get In GENERAL MOTORS.

I Was Able To Get An Application And Test After Test, Call After Call, No Avail, But I NEVER GAVE UP. This Job Was Going To Be MINE! 3 yrs Later Out Of The Blue, Mine You I Was Still Calling, Somehow I Found The # To HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, Calling Every 2 WEEKS. They Knew Me By Name, I Was REALLY Upsetting Them, BUT THEY KNEW MY NAME, JOHN.

I Got The Call! They Told Me That They Only Had One Position Available, And They Said That When They Saw My Name On The List, They Remembered How Much Of A Pain I Was, They Told Me This. They Also Said And Thought This Guy Must Really Want This. WOW! I Got The Job. When I Was There They Had Class That They Offered Upstairs At The Plant That You Can Come In Early And Take These Classes, I Jumped On This Opportunity!

While Others Did Not. I Became TEAM LEADER. People Were Wondering And Mad That I Had Such Low SENORITY, How Did I Get That Position, HERE WE GO AGAIN.  I Never Brag Just Gain There Respect. THEN I GOT HURT ON THE JOB! I Now Have Permanent Nerve Damage And Have A SPINAL CORD STIMULATOR PERMINENTLY IMPLANTED TO MY BRAIN STEM.

This Works By Remote Control And I Have To Aways Keep My Battery Charged. NEVER BEING ABLE TO WORK AGAIN.

Now What Am I Going To Do! I Was Bored, Can’t Do Anything And There Are Only So Many TV Shows That You Can Watch Before Repeats. Can’t Do The Same Things With Wife And Kids That I Was Use To Do. so I Started Looking On The Internet For Work At Home Business/Jobs, Boy Did I Get TAKEN FOR A RIDE. WIFEY WAS MAD!

When Will You STOP! REMEMBER I NEVER GIVE UP! So I RAN ACROSS EMPOWER NETWORK– DAVID WOOD/DAVID SHARPE. WOW! WINNER! EMPOWER NETWORK Is Not Only a Business That You Can Do While Still Having A Life. But EVERYONE HELPS EVERYONE.
