Hello. Today’s blog is about motivation.
Self-motivation.
All too often, we find ourselves repeating the same old actions and habits and not really knowing how in the hell we arrived there but the years just went by and here we are, in whatever situation we are in and more often than not no real visible “way out” in sight.
Were we even looking for a way out? or had we just become, “comfortably numb?” (thanks Pink floyd for the words).
Look around you now. Are you living your life with passion and excitement?
Do you have a goal? Are you working every day without fail on the steps that will achieve that goal?
Do you even DARE to dream of an alternate “reality”?
I do. I have for a great many years. I have worked long and hard to make sure that others have had the chance to make their lives better, to increase their abilities, to take responsibility for the mistakes that they have made and to leave all the blame, shame and regret behind and start newly doing it right this time.
I am a total believer in the power of the human spirit, which is infinitely powerful and believe it or not, always self-limited.
Yes, I mean self-limited.
Many of you will find that harsh, and unjust because we can always blame our childhood, or our teachers or our parents or our stupid laws in our country or the government. And most people do, and they suffer because of that.
But, my friend, the truth is that by assisting the individual to take responsibility for being who he or she is and allowing them to be the one determining who he or she will become, is where we can have the greatest resurgences of personal power and fantastic changes in the individual. These are self motivational changes, or self motivated changes.
You cannot make someone more intelligent. You cannot make someone decide to change his or her life. You can only show them that change is possible and that it is desirable.
It is up to them to create the desire to change. Hence, self motivation.
I could change all the governments in the world, I could totally re-organise the education system, and none of it would change you in the slightest way, unless you , yourself, have determined that a change was possible.
So, I do not work with governments or education systems.
I work with individuals. I help people realise that the only thing that will help them achieve what it is that they want to achieve is to learn to be who they are.
We are continually bombarded by the idiot driven media to try to be like miss A or Mr B. “You’ll be smarter” if you buy the telephone that DJ Zogboe has, or wear the same boxer shorts as Dobbleshot the footballer, and it just isn’t true.
The only satisfaction that you can ever have in reality is the happiness of being exactly who you are.
IF, you can see the truth in these words then you are already on your way to achieving success for yourself.
You are the one who determines your own destiny.
You can apply this knowledge to any life activity and you can help others work better together, to assist each other to be the best that they can be and the world will change.
