I shot this video somewhere in Colorado, while I travel across the country with my

brother, Michael. These little guys were nestled in at a Post Office. I was impressed by the home they built for themselves, and was inspired to stay for awhile and observe them. I started thinking that sometimes you just have to fly. Stay tuned for my thoughts on this in a bit.
It never ceases to amaze me at how animals and birds in nature know exactly what to do to take care of themselves and of their young. Such an amazing and fascinating instinct they have.
Just look at this apartment complex! The sound of baby birds crying to be fed is always so sweet to me. My fiancé and I feed the birds at our home all winter long, so we’re great fans of theirs, and all other wildlife.
You’ll see in this short video that one bird opens his mouth, almost as if testing me, to see if maybe I just happened to come along with a little tidbit for it. It’s almost like when he realized that I didn’t have anything for him, he decided to take off on his own and fend for himself.
Relating that to ourselves as humans, at some point in our lives, sometimes you just have to fly in order to fend for ourselves and find out who we are in this big world.
This reinforces for me the belief that we need to stand on our own to be successful in life. First we need a goal, whether it be financial, spiritual, mental or physical. Next we have to strive to reach that goal, adjusting it as needed along the way.
Sometimes You Just Have to Fly
If we want it bad enough, we cannot give up until our goals and dreams become a reality, and then we strive to reach the next goals.
As an Internet Marketer, I often hear of people giving up on their dreams because they think their sponsor didn’t help them enough. Quite frankly, I interpret that as “My sponsor didn’t do it all for me.” STOP relying on your sponsors or anyone else, for that matter.
Just like the baby bird, momma will feed it and take care of it only up to a certain point, then the baby needs to go out on its own and make its own life.
There is no reason for failure. If you want something bad enough, GO GET IT, and don’t give up. The reason people fail is because they give up. It’s not your sponsor’s responsibility, anymore than it is your neighbor’s responsibility, to see that you succeed.
It is up to you. Take the bull by the horns. Make things happen for yourself and stop believing that you need others to get what you want. Go get it!
What would happen to the baby bird if it didn’t go off on its own? It would starve. It would not survive. It has no choice but to become independent.
It’s the same with you. Sometimes you just have to fly!
I invite you to come fly with me. As your sponsor, I will help you build your nest, I will guide you along your way, and I will support you. But I will not baby you. You will be thankful for that when you start to realize your dreams, as I have.
