What is an opportunity?
Everyone’s lives are filled with opportunities and choices. Opportunity is defined as a favorable or advantageous circumstance or combination of circumstances. Nowhere in that definition does it say easy. An opportunity is anything that brings you closer to your goals. It can be knowledge, connecting with a person, getting a job or internship, or the chance to invest in yourself.
Are you missing opportunities?
People miss opportunities for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes you’re too preoccupied with what’s going on in your life. Sometimes you miss an opportunity because of fear. Sometimes it’s because you let others get into your head. Who hasn’t heard “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” What a horrible outlook. Miracles happen all the time, they shouldn’t happen, but they do…hence the word miracle! What makes anyone think that rule shouldn’t apply to everything. The internet at one point was too good to be true. Guess what, it’s true. The worst is when you miss an opportunity because you doubt yourself. Everyone is capable of so much that they aren’t even aware of.

The sexy opportunity I found
I’ve missed countless opportunities over the years for 2 reasons, well basically 1 reason. First was fear and self doubt and the second was the fear of what everyone else would think. Honestly, I think all that prepared me for the opportunity I found last year. Last year I found Empower Netwok and became part of the Prosperity Team. It is a sexy company because it’s filled with people that are kind, so smart, and generous. They are changing the world. It’s taken work to learn everything I need to know and I’m constantly learning, but it’s given me the chance to build the life I want. That is priceless!!
