How To Find Great Content For Your Blog

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

You know, everybody has content ideas and don’t even know it. I know you probably sometimes sit in front of your computer and get writers block. Your mind goes blank simply because you are trying to think too hard.

First of all. You need to relax.

You have to be comfortable and focused.

What I am about to share with you will help you create better content and also something that people will want to read about. How does that sound to you?

Lets see. First I want to tell you that you can help your business popularity by publishing articles in different article directories. You are spreading the word about what your business has to offer, you are getting great esposore that is positioning you as an expert by sharing you expertise and what you have learned over time.

Now, lets start with some ideas for you.

  1. Real-Life Success Stories Are Great Content

Articles about different success stories are great. What you want to do in your content is tell about a problem that you have solved for somebody and use that to offer more advice. You want to show your readers how exactly did you solve their problem so they can see how it will solve theirs also. This will help you to come off as an expert in your readers eyes than you just saying that you are an expert. Most people have to see it to believe it.

2.  Jot down 8 questions your clients have asked you in the past.

You probably didn’t even think about this one. Jotting down some questions that your customers or clients have asked you. Each one of those questions can be made into an article. Think about it, if you were asked 8 questions then that’s 8 articles, simple. If you cant think of any questions just shoot your current customers or emailing list a quick email to ask them what areas are they most interested in getting more info about.

3. Learn something from a book or cd?

You have probably heard that if you want to succeed in any business, listening to uplifting cds and reading inspiring books will help you tremendously. So why not write your content about what you have learned from it. Sounds good don’t it? Anytime you hear something inspiring or has changed your thought process than you want to turn it into an article. When you do that then you have the potential of reaching somebody that is in that same position in their life. Everybody loves when they can connect with people that are just like them.

4. If nothing else works just borrow an article.

If you are just stuck completely and need something to give you that boost then just borrow an article. There are a lot of articles that are free and the writers will let you use them only if you leave the article the way it is and put a link back to their site. Its easy as 1.2.3.

Bottom line is, content is everywhere.

I want to leave you with this one important factor that you can use everyday.

Carry a little notepad and pen all day everyday. When something happens that day write it down because that can and will be content that you can write about. Your life experience.

For example, say your car breaks down and you have to call a tow truck. Your article can be about your car breaking down and how there is always help when you need it. There is your article. Don’t make it as hard as it is.
