Exactly what is a PLR Product?
PLR stands for Private Label Rights. OK so what does Private Label Rights mean?
According to Wikipedia – Private label rights is a concept used in Internet Marketing and derived from private labeling. It’s a license where the author sells most or all of the intellectual property rights to their work. The license is defined by the author of the work and has no legal definition.
According to Galen – IN Galen’s terms PLR is where someone else writes an article, eBook, autoresponder messages or PLR software and then sales the rights to you, to rebrand the product under your own name, for a price! That’s it!
Here are a few things to keep in mind when Looking for and Using PLR Content.
Don’t be a copy cat!
As a warning: When you purchase high quality PLR products use them as a resource and not as a source. What I mean is you should revise the PLR product before distributing it under your brand name and your money site.
Those who are new to blogging often think they can just copy and paste, a MLM PLR article or Niche PLR product, they just purchased into a blog post and everything is ….

Think twice before you do this!!
Rewrite your new PLR article before you distribute it. It might be an extra step but well worth the time and effort. One of the best tools I believe to help you accomplish this task a little easier is “The Best Spinner“. IF you blog a lot and use PLR products this is your best and safest BET!

One of the biggest mistakes I see new bloggers make is that they aren’t email marketing to their list (leads). The most common excuse I hear for not doing so is, “I don’t know how to write compelling follow up messages.”
Listen, I completely understand… BUT
The bottom line is you are missing the boat
and more importantly SALES…
The best way to build a relationship with your list is through email follow up messages. IF you can’t write good ad copy or haven’t honed your skills in this area then outsource it or find someone who is writing autoresponder messages and selling them under private label rights.

Additional TIPS:
- Always rewrite PLR Content if you are planning on using it on your Empower Network Blog or other Money Site. You should never copy the whole article to your site.
- Email Autoresponder messages are a little different. The only person seeing your follow message is the leads from your LIST. So you don’t have to rewrite the whole email message.
- Read each email message and tailor it to your writing style and marketing niche. Other words don’t send a message to your list about “dog food” when you are targeting “network marketers”.
