Starting a business online can be frustrating especially if you don’t have any internet marketing strategies. Getting exposure for you online business doesn’t mean that you have to go out and spend a fortune just to get some good results. There are several low cost strategies that you can utilize without blowing up your marketing budget.
Leverage the internet by using some easy internet marketing strategies that you can do on your own to increase website traffic and up your sales conversions. Keep in mind that some of these strategies will take time, patience and a little work on your behalf to see results.

Seek out Forums that are related to your marketing niche. By actively participating in these forums you can build up your reputation by asking questions and offering helpful suggestions to others questions. Avoid putting spammy links in your signature file as you might be banned from the forum for doing so.
Strategy #3 – Building Links
Building links to your website is an important part of your internet marketing strategies. Google and other search engines will love to rank you higher when you have good quality diversified links pointing back to your website.
This can be achieved by commenting on other websites or blogs, exchanging links with another HIGH PR websites, like I did with my friend Wade Hardman at his Make Money Blogging website, Web 2.0 sites and social book marking. Of course, if you have a huge marketing budget you can outsource this part of your internet marketing strategy.
Strategy #4 – Newsletters
Newsletters are a good way to reach out to those that signed up for you newsletter. It’s another low cost marketing strategy that will help you to build a working relationship with your followers and prospects. Remember, to write your content for a general audience. Keep it short and sweet.
Strategy #5 – Email Marketing
As they say it’s all in the list. One of the best low cost internet marketing strategies is Email Marketing. Once you have started to build your list you want to leverage that list by sending them periodic emails. Your emails can be about a product or service that you have or recommend. Avoid being to spammy with your email links. You don’t want your email service to shut you down due to your list making complaints.

By taking action you will start to see more traffic to your website, more conversions and more sales. Using low cost internet marketing strategies means that you will need to get your hands dirty and do the work but in the long run it will be worth your effort and time.
