Why Meditate Now

To meditate is to listen with a receptive heart. Buddha

Why is of the most important for you to take at least from 5 to 10 minutes to meditate daily?

Without doubt, you and I are living during a time period of a very high stress level in almost all area of our lives. Many are suffering from tremendous financial worries, family challenges and much more. Others are overwhelmed with the global calamities, war, crimes, illness and jobs lost. All these reasons mentioned above are the why taking a few minutes every day to meditate is so valuable.

Others, entrepreneurs, like ourselves, in search to living life of freedom in our own terms by our design, are also experiencing a very high level of stress and frustration in our day to day mission to do what ever it takes to reach our outcomes. Meditation is then, the best and more effective key to help each of us to live a more harmonious, pleasant and fulfilled life.

You as well as me know that working from home online is not an easy piece of cake to eat.

It is challenging and a lot must be done on a daily basis if you and I really want to enjoy the fruits of our labor in the near future.

I could have kept on writing about all the amazing benefits that meditating for 5 to 10 every day has upon our lives, but, instead here are some profound quotes that explain in detail how amazing it is to just meditate for 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.

Meditation is to be aware of what is going on – in our bodies, in our feelings, in our minds, and in the world. Each day…children die of hunger…. Yet the sunrise is beautiful, and the rose that bloomed this morning along the wall is a miracle. Life is both dreadful and wonderful. To practice meditation is to be in touch with both aspects. Please do not think we must be solemn in order to meditate. In fact, to meditate well, we have to smile a lot. Thich Nhat Hanh

When one devotes oneself to meditation, mental burdens, unnecessary worries, and wandering thoughts drop off one by one; life seems to run smoothly and pleasantly. A student may now depend on intuition to make decisions. As one acts on intuition, second thought, with its dualism, doubt and hesitation, does not arise. Nyogen Senzaki

Meditating let the mind be empty, and not filled with the things of the mind. Then there is only meditation, and not a meditor who is meditating . . . The mind must be clear, without movement, and in the light of that clarity the timeless will be revealed. J. Krishnamurti

Empty yourself of everything.
Let the mind rest at peace.
The ten thousand things rise and fall while the Self watches their return.
They grow and flourish and then return to the source.
Returning to the source is stillness, which is the way of nature. Lao Tzu

Those who seek the truth by means of intellect and learning only get further and further away from it. Not till your thoughts cease all their branching here and there, not till you abandon all thoughts of seeking for something, not till your mind is motionless as wood or stone, will you be on the right road to the Gate. Huang Po

My friend, this 5 o 10 minutes of meditation everyday will have tremendous and profound effects in your life….don’t take it lightly or for granted.

Yes, I believe in affirmation, afformation and reciting our goals and definite purpose daily, however, if you truly want permanent change within you, meditation is the way.

If you truly want to enhance all areas of your life, meditation is the best choice.

If you truly desire to know thyself….the path to it is meditation.

If you truly desire to reach a much higher level of awareness, meditation will take you there.

If you truly want to increase the power of your creative imagination, meditation is your key to open the door to the wisdom of the ages.

As you can see, 5 to 10 minutes of daily meditation is life transforming….it is the essence of enjoying the present and making the most of every moment of your life.

The aim of life is to live, and live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely and divinely aware. Henry Miller

Keep in mind that living life in harmony, joy and love, is to be engage in the present moment with enthusiasm from within the wholeness and serenity of our mind, body and spirit.
