I’ve never been much of a wordsmith. One thing I have learned with Empower Network is I don’t have to be. There are people who are good at it – damn good at it.
Take Justin Verrengia for example. He has a way with words. He is real and like everyone I’ve met in Empower Network he is focused on teaching the next guy how to be successfull. Check this out:
Now I come from a corporate background where trade secrets are guarded with your life. To see a company that is hell bent on teaching each and every member the exact steps they took to create a lifestyle that most of us only dream of is a breath of fresh air.
At first it is a little hard to believe. To good to be true was my first response. No way anyone is going to teach me how. Boy was I WRONG! A funny thing happened on the way to learning how wrong I was. I met a lot of real people. People who called me out. People who asked why I was holding myself back, why I didn’t believe I was good enough to live the lifestyle I dreamed of. Ouch. Double ouch because it was true.
By then they had my attention. I figured out it was not just lip service and I started to really listen. I learned not only are they walking me thru step by step they are teaching me to tear down the barriers I had built. Not only was I learning to create a lifestyle I thought was out of my reach I was learning to believe in myself.
With belief came focus. With focus came vision. With vision came confidence. With confidence came success. Has it been easy? Well yes and no. The easy part was following the directions. The hard part was getting out of my own way.
My wife and I were everyday people living an everyday life. You know the one, put in 10 hour days (if you haven’t been laid off from your job) Come home, feed the dog, schlep the kids around, eat dinner, watch a little tv, worry you might be in the next round of layoffs (or pray that you are) and then dream about spending all that money you’re gonna win in the lottery.
First thing I figured out – I deserve more than everday. Belief held me back and then it set me free – with a little help from the Empower Network.
