Basically, the more self-development I do to be a better leader, the more my team will benefit from the training.

Self Development is foundational to all people in sales, network marketing, internet marketing, mlm, real estate, and anyone who is an entrepreneur. Bottom line.

Even as I was traveling to the event, my car became “The Network Marketing University”; I listened to some CD’s I purchased from Cedrick Harris about 3 years ago; topic? Network Marketing. They were extremely valuable then, as a “newbie” entering the network marketing profession; they are extremely valuable now as I re-listen to them.

I am at a different level of development, so the personal development information takes on a different level of understanding.

It was good to hear Cedrick approach topics such as “attraction marketing” and the “funded proposal.”

The majority of network marketers who are entering the home based business arena have very important reasons for joining the business:

to achieve a sustainable income or replace their existing income
to have more freedom to do the things that are important to them; it has been a busy life, but their personal fulfillment or goals have not been met yet
to have more time with their loved ones or children; this is at the heart of many.

“Failure is not an option.”

If you wish to be successful, you need to work on yourself, mentioned Jim Rohn when he mentored to thousands.

So, as I work on myself this weekend by networking, developing new technical skills, and receiving mentorship/coaching from the leaders in our business, I ask you…. are you ready to take your life and business to the next level? Are you striving for excellence in your life?
