Miley Cyrus – Wrecking Ball Video and Song Review
First watch Miley Cyrus and her Wrecking Ball video with an open mind and without judgement.
Ok, now that you have watched the Wrecking Ball video by Miley Cyrus, I’m going to give you my thoughts. You might see things in a different light, but perhaps it’s because your thoughts are influenced by other peoples so called views and distorted ideas of morality.
First of all, ya Miley is nude in the video. You may be thinking… “why does she have to get nude, is it because she can’t sing?”
Well obviously she can sing. The girl has talent.
Here is what Miley Cyrus has to say about the video: She is claiming that her video “Wrecking Ball” is less about her stripping naked, and more about heartbreak, vulnerability and emotions. As long as people are able to look past the nudity.
She says “if people actually look at the emotion in her eyes, they could tell she looks more broken than the songs sounds”.
She has a point there, but after her last controversial performance at the MTV awards, it’s hard for people to take her serious.
I get that and I wasn’t too fond of that performance either. But at the same time I understand she is young and she will make some decisions that will maybe not be in her best interest…
…but who are we to judge her. It’s her life and she is the only one that has to live with her decisions. She will mature with time and I believe we will see a wiser Miley Cyrus in the future.
As far as the Wrecking Ball video, I happen to think it’s brilliant and artful.
We were all born nude.
It’s 2013, we really need to get over nudity – don’t you think. Miley actually didn’t show anything anyway. Also like she says, she is showing vulnerability, emotions.
When you watch the video with no preconceived judgement, and look at as art – you have to admit it’s pretty damn good.
Oh ya, listen to the words. I’m not sure who wrote this song but they did a great job as well! And that girl has a great voice.
Sometimes we are too quick to judge people, and most times the people judging others need to take a look in their own backyard, – know what I mean?
Oh how we all think we are so innocent.
