A couple of days ago, I wrote a post about how ignorance is like sleep…
I found a powerful thought this morning that goes right along with that post.
In today’s world, there’s no more excuses for ignorance…
We have information available at the touch of a button, right in the palm of our hands.
There’s just no more excuses.
If you’re ignorant about something, it’s not because the information isn’t readily available.
It’s because you’re too lazy or ignorant by choice.
I know that’s a bit blunt… but tell me I’m wrong.
Take political ignorance for example…
Our country is full of what I call “Low Information Voters” (LIV’s).
These are people who listen to politicians speak and believe everything they say… but don’t bother to do their homework to see if they’re actually telling the truth.
Politicians love LIV’s.
And we wonder why our country continues to struggle???
Here’s another example… educational ignorance.
Lots of people want a better life and feel like if they just had more skills or knowledge, they could change things.
Well, if I can learn how to change my spark plugs and thermostat off YouTube, I’m pretty sure you can find a way to learn just about anything you really want to.
The information is out there. We just have to get off our butts and go get it.
It’s way more expensive to remain ignorant and lazy.
Let’s look at personal finances…
Most people are one paycheck away from being broke. I know. I’ve been there.
These people like to talk about how they’d like to make more money….
…but they never do anything about it.
There are thousands of ways to use the internet to make a great income.
But for some reason, these people choose to remain ignorant about it and just keep crossing their fingers that they don’t get fired.
*face-palm*
Ignorance is really a choice… Choose wisely!
Right now, there’s something going through your mind that you know you’ve been ignorant about.
I don’t need to tell you what it is… you already know.
Do something about it. Change it. Change your life.
It’s really not that hard. You just have to take that first step and get going.
It’s your life.
If you don’t control it… someone else will!
