Read NOW: Important Tip for Internet and Network Marketers
Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.
Because of the nature of our industry, it’s common that you’ll find yourself regularly pitched by people to buy leads, traffic, systems, SEO consulting, etc…
And if for some reason you’re not where you want to be yet, this “shiny metal object syndrome” can be very, VERY tempting…
(It can also break your bank faster than you can say “government bailout” if you’re not extremely careful…)
So how do you know what’s real and what’s not?

Simple Tip for All Marketers – Internet, Affiliate or Network Marketers:
Here’s a powerful tip to separate the pretenders from the real deal:
Is the person trying to sell you their leads or their ‘system’ etc. on the leader-board of their own company?
If they’re not… why not?
One of my partners in Empower Network is a constant target of these sales pitches.(for a small fortune, of course)

I’m starting to get these calls myself. More than likely, you have, too.
Here’s the best way out of those conversations-
Just say,
What’s the name of your company?
…and then run a Google search to see if they’re on the front page of Google for their own keywords.
If they’re not… why not?
If someone wants to sell me co-ops… or systems…. or traffic…
Wouldn’t it be a good idea to see what they’re promoting with their “killer” software or system?

And if their name isn’t on the leader-board of their own company….
Then why would I want to use their services to get the same weak results they’re getting?
Just sayin’…
This is your business… yours and yours alone.
Take ownership of it.

P.S. I’m extremely grateful to be a part of a company that makes it very, VERY easy to say “NO” to all the shiny metal objects out there…

Why is it easy? Because we have a simple system with all the pieces already in place to get you anywhere you want to go… no matter where you’ve been or what you’re doing right now.
After you watch this short video on the next page, you’ll feel what it’s like to be able to “sleep when the wind blows”…
Here’s a peak:
