Emily Bernstein

Take one minute and fifty four seconds, play the song, and close your eyes. That is the whole instruction in the best post here, and the argument around it is that everybody you know is tired, stretched and worried about somebody, and that the worry does not stop when you add the rest of the world to it.

Emily Bernstein writes about a woman who lost a job in a round of cutbacks with two children to raise and no money, and who built something at home so she could be there for them. The post stays with the struggle instead of jumping to the outcome.

There is an interview with a syndicated radio host, transcribed with the broadcast times and stations left in, and a piece about Kashmir that reaches for something out of a place most readers only know from headlines.

The manifesto posts are the vaguest part of it.

Read the groovy post first, and actually do what it says.
