Release the fear in running an online business
Remember the Bible story of the five loaves of bread and 2 fish feeding 5000 people?
Well as I was reading that story today. I could not help but think that running an online business as a team was very similar.
When someone starts their online business they feel like they are alone in the effort to a point. They are with usually one mentor and a system to get the trained. Then as the business grows you need to keep your goals and beliefs on track to be able to edify and encourage your whole team. By mimicking the mentors and how they have helped you in running an online business of your own.
Now I am not saying by any means that I or any leader is Jesus or even like Jesus by any stretch of the mind. I just see the correlation in the story.
Another story with a similar connection is the story of Jesus walking on water. Then when Peter got out of the security of the boat and walked on the water as well, this was outstanding as well as doing the uncomfortable!!
In this story Jesus tells his disciples not to fear, now that helped them to be confident that all was well and that Jesus knew with out a doubt that it (in this case walking on the water) would work.
Now when Peter began to see the waives and wind around him, he began to sink. Looking at how to connect this part of the story to running an online business, we see that the wind and waives simulate the naysayers, problems, and bumps in our road that would keep us from accomplishing our GOALS or what his mentor (Jesus) had done.
We all work contently on releasing the fear when running an online business or any business for that matter.
We need to remember to be like Peter in that he called out for help!! We all need to ask for direction every now and then. This is why we do business as a team or family and not an island in ourselves.
Allow your leaders or team members to give you something (be it a webinar, team call or whatever) to put the confidence back in your step and get exited about your business and Goals again!!
Reach out for the guidance that you need. Do not just quit and fade into the work force that brought you here to start running an online business initially.
As long as you don’t give up on your Goals and Dreams that you have for you business, it will come true. IT WILL with out a doubt, you just need to go all out to make it happen.
There are to many people that have come from being flat broke to millionaire to say that you can not do it. We as internet marketers running an online business need to stay focused, determined, and stretching to make our dreams come true. This was we as leaders can show the way to others to do the same!!
