Being Clear on what You Want from your Business will keep you moving forward in your business.
You need to stay clear on a daily bases to keep you going in the right direction.
So when you write down what you want or your goal for your business into a mission statement and keep that statement in front of you to keep it in the forefront of your mind, it will help with your focus.
Every time I lost focus and lost clarity of what I really wanted for my business, things would go downhill and fast. As soon as I stepped back and got clear with what I wanted for me and my business picked up. Interesting how that worked!!
The steps to go through are:
1. Look at where you are and where you want your life and business to be.
2. Look at the goal that you want to hit in say 3 months.
3. Close your eyes and visualize yourself in the future, having hit your goal. Visualize where you are, what you’re doing, the feel of hitting your goal, the smells around you…. What are you going to reward yourself or your family with when you hit your goal? Feel the excitement!
4. The reward is important!
5. Now right it out and keep it in front of you to read daily
When I did mine it looked like this –
It is May 1st at 5pm and as I turn on my computer and look at my bank accounts I can see that there is over 15K of income in it for the month of April, The sun is starting to go down and I am getting ready for my husband to come home from work. As we sit down to dinner I let him know about the amount in my business accounts and he lets me know where the trailer is that he has been looking at so we can go take a look at it. We also take out the Hawaii brochure and plan out our 25th Anniversary trip to Hawaii as a reward for a job well done!
Now is when you start working backwards to find out what needs to be done on a daily bases to make this come true.
