Almost everything here explains blogging to somebody who has never done it, and the explanations have been reworded until the phrasing goes slightly wrong. The idea underneath is sound: a blog began as a log kept by a site owner, closer to a ship's captain recording a voyage than to anything literary.
Two posts step outside completely and are the ones you will remember. One warns that household chemicals have been linked to Parkinson's disease, and the other simply asks people to wash their hands before leaving a bathroom, written with more exasperation than science.
There is a post aimed at gamblers promising a certainty, and it deserves the scepticism the phrase invites.
The home business material is the standard sort, on the good, the bad and the parts nobody mentions, with an unusually direct passage about people who hate their work and do nothing about it.
