Three posts, and the one that earns its place explains a workaround. The blogging platform he was handed will not let you install a plugin, which means the usual one click method of connecting an analytics account simply does not apply. He works out where to put the tracking code instead and writes it down step by step.
The other two concern visitors. One reports what happened to his own numbers across a couple of days and shows the screen rather than describing it. The other lists the ways of getting people to a blog, weighs paid advertising against the free methods, and settles on the approach that was reliably bringing people to his own site every day.
Dustin Thigpen keeps all three short, and he sounds like somebody telling a friend what he found rather than teaching a course.
If you cannot see who visits your blog, the analytics post is worth ten minutes of your evening. Read the traffic one afterwards, and pay no attention to the screenshot.
