Off Page SEO Techniques You Can Use Today

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Off Page SEO techniques are critical for anyone that wants to succeed online.  Why? If you are succeeding with SEO the necessary traffic to your website or blog will follow to build your business.  If you take the time to learn a few simple SEO techniques yourself you will save a lot of money in paid advertising to get traffic to your site.

Those are two great reasons to use SEO; it can be free when you learn how to use it and it brings droves of search engine traffic to your site.  For anyone that has a blog or website the obvious number one goal with their “off page SEO techniques” should be to get as many posts as you can on the first page of Google.  Yahoo and Bing are important too, but they don’t carry as much weight as Google.

A backlink is a link back to your blog post.  It’s like a bridge from one website to another.  The more of these you have from quality websites to more authority mother Google will give your site.  Get plenty of backlinks from many quality other “authority” sites and you can’t go wrong.  Once you start the process backlinking has a tendency to grow itself overtime if you’re providing your visitors with good quality content worth reading.
