Beginners Guide to Empower Network Module 1: Getting Started
Before completely going through this guide you must log into your back office and complete the 8 core commitment video training series and take the associated quizzes. This will help you get off to a good start. DO NOT skip this part of your training.
This is your foundational training to the principles inside your business.
The following training is geared toward the person who has never blogged in their life. So, if you’re a blogger and your familiar with the wordpress platform, and you know a little SEO you can use the beginning training as a refresher.
At this point in the beginners guide to Empower Network you haven’t written your first blog post yet and you’ve just watched the 8-core commitment training series with the associated quizzes. In which I hope you passed.
So, lets talk about what exactly Empower Network (EN) is.
EN is a direct sales company. If you want to make money with this company you have to sell. What do you sell? You sell the exact blogging system this beginners guide to Empower Network is on. In total if you own these products when you sell someone the “all in package” you can make a total of
Moving on with our Beginners Guide to Empower Network:
The EN is not a get rich quick scheme. It’s not a pyramid scam; it’s a real company doing big things inside the online business niche.
It takes real work over a period of time to get big results. With MASSIVE ACTION toward a goal, comes a MASSIVE result reaching that goal. You are now a business owner, so it’s time to think like an entrepreneur. Think long-term because nobody has overnight successes.
Now you’re ready to make your very first blog post. So, log into your back office and click on the big green button that says “Log in and Start Blogging.”
Get inside your blog and start getting familiar with all the buttons and tabs before you try to publish your first post. I’m going to talk about setting up categories and tags and what that means later on.
A good practice is to write and edit your blog post inside Microsoft Word (or something similar) before posting it inside your blog. This will come in handy because you can then save each post and do easy edits.
Write your very first blog post on why you chose to join the Empower Network, your past, where you’re at now, and where you plan to go (goals). Just basically tell your unique story to others. Make it at least 500 words and write it so it’s compelling and interesting to read.
For now, keep the “Easy Mode” activated in your WordPress suite.
Ok great! Good job! You wrote your very first blog post. Doesn’t it feel good?
Now the first one is done…let’s focus on the next one.
Let’s define a few things for our “beginners guide to Empower Network” inside the WordPress suite.
Tags – these are the keywords we want to rank for inside the search engines. If you write a blog post about German shepherd training, your tags will look something like this…
German shepherd training
German Shepherd commands
How to train a German shepherd
Trained German shepherd
GSD training
All of these words maybe mentioned in your blog post but your main keyword will be in your post more. This is more advanced training that will be covered later on.
Do you get the idea? A good sweet spot is around 6-7 tags on each of your blog posts.
Next up in our beginners guide to Empower Network is categories.
Categories – this is what your post is about. Just starting out I would make a total of 5 categories and load those five categories up with tons of content (posts) before branching off into other categories.
What’s your background in? And what are you going to be blogging about?
Let’s say you have a background in dog training and you want to blog about dogs and how to train them properly. So, we’re going to load up 5 categories with blog posts.
Empower Network – for posts about EN and internet marketing
Dog Training
Dog Health
Dog Nutrition
Random – for posts off topic
Do you get the idea here? It’s good practice to fill your categories with 5-7 posts before moving on to a new category.
Now move on to your next blog post.
Here’s what’s coming up next in this beginners guide to Empower Network.
Module 2: 100 day Empower Network Blogging Challenge
Module 3: Content Creation
Module 4: Empower Network On-Page SEO
Module 5: Empower Network Off-Page SEO
Module 6: How to scale your Empower Network business
For now, just keep blogging everyday. Do 2-3 blog posts per day if time and energy permits you to do so. Remember MASSIVE ACTION over a period of time = MASSIVE RESULTS over time.
Here are some things I’ve learned while working at this business:
- Think like an entrepreneur (you now own a business)
- Take action every single day
- Don’t quit when you get discouraged or it gets hard
- Don’t hesitate to buy a product if it teaches you what you need to do to make more money in your business.
- Learn, read, and listen everyday
- Keep a positive attitude.
**That’s it for module 1 of this beginners guide to Empower Network, move onto to module 2: The Empower Network 100 Day Blogging Challenge.**
