Learning To Use The Power Of Language

Do you ever find that some people just have a natural ability to speak with such ease in front of people, making their audience hang on their every last word?

Or that person that writes so eloquently, powerfully and dynamically that you literally CANNOT stop reading and feel like you are right there inside their story with them?

These people have mastered the Power of Language and use it in everything they do for their ultimate success!

Personally, I do not have that particular gift. I am not a speaker by nature, I can do it, I can force myself outside of my comfort zone and present to people do alright, but I have not mastered the Power of Language and been able to effectively put it to use for myself as of yet. Written words are a little different, I definitely feel as though I am much more effective at conveying my message via writing.

I feel more powerful and expressive when writing have an easier time getting my point across, as well as it is easier to the skills I do possess (design, marketing) to creatively make sure that the point being conveyed is done so in a way that is effective.

One of the things that I have committed to learning and growing next is the Power of Language and how that can transform everything that I do. From the everyday relationships with loved ones, strangers and clients to the people reading my blogs and making the decision to change their lives by choosing to act and take action, all of these things are influenced by the Power of Language.  

Think about this… have you ever been taking with your significant other and the very way in which they merely worded the statement they made to you IMMEDIATELY put you on the defensive and resulted in a huge argument? When the smoke settles you realize that if they had just simple phrased the statement differently there would have been no defensive feeling raised, you would have felt safe and secure in answering the question with no love lost.  The Power of Language has such an effect on our daily lives and most times we don’t even realize it …

I have committed myself to following the action steps that David Wood, a master with the Power of Language, has put in front of us for free in order to grow us as part of the training he gives away with Empower Network.
