The Most Bad Ass Event Ever

The most impact full event I’ve ever been too was Atlanta GA. Last year I attended the 1st Empower Network event. This event was not planned at all. One Monday on an Empower Hour Tony Rush said “Hey if your any where in the Atlanta area come see us” once I heard that I told my boyfriend lets GO. I said screw work. I just told them I had the stomach virus and I knew that would last for 2 days. So that gave me enough time to get there and back with enough time.

I was not missing this event for nothing.

It felt like we were running away from home. So within’ an hour I was on 95 heading South to Atlanta. I didn’t know what came over me to act quickly to make a decision like that but, what I did know is that I was not going to be a droid for the rest of my life. My heart was racing so fast I was SUPER excited about going to Atlanta. I also had never been. It took us about 9-10 hours to get there. We arrived in the morning around 9am and checked into our hotel at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Atlanta, GA. Checked out the hotel and the city a little bit. Waiting for the event to start in the afternoon. Finally the event started and Dave Sharpe asked, who in the room drove the furthest to get here people started to raise their hands shouting out Florida, North Carolina, Alabama etc. so I raised my hand and said Washington, D.C. The entire room looked at us and every one was in total shock.

Dave Sharpe touched on some amazing points and talked about the vision for Empower Network in the future and how people work all their lives and never enjoy life. The event was over and everyone took pictures and made videos. So Dave Sharpe asked who wanted to go to dinner so my boyfriend and I both said yes. So a bunch of us went to the restaurant called Taco Mac right around the corner from the Omni Hotel. The food was delicious and has turned into on of my favorite restaurants thus far. Enjoying dinner with several top leaders in Empower Network Tracey Walker, Tony Rush, Adrian Hines & Tom McMurrian.

Dinner was so fun just hanging out with a bunch of positive people. So dinner was over most people had to get back home but my boyfriend and I were staying at the hotel with Dave Sharpe. So we left out the restaurant together with Dave and he invited is back to his hotel suite. On the 26th floor. so Dave asked us if we wanted to shoot a video. So we did.

We finish talking and he thanked us for coming out to the event and I gave Dave a huge and we left. OMG I didn’t sleep for the rest of the night. I was super excited leaving from Dave’s presidential suite. I was just ready to go back home and get to work. Went back to our room and uploaded our video that we did with Dave Sharpe.

So the next morning we left Atlanta and went back home ready to work to make a difference in our business. Attending this event in Atlanta was the most powerful event ever. It changed my life for the better. I have learned some many things by attending these live events. I have meet so many amazing people. My path vision and belief are so much clearer. I truly believe in myself. Before i really didn’t believe in myself i had a serious lack of belief. I didn’t understand why. Now i do. I have learned some many things by attending these live events. I have meet so many amazing people.

Here is the video we shot that night with David Sharpe in his Hotel Suite.
