Ranking Sites On Google With The Power Of SEO Faster Than I Ever Thought Possible

Yesterday I had an experience which I want to share with you today. It’s about SEO and it’s unbelievable impact regarding my intention to create traffic to my site.

What is SEO?

SEO means Search Engine Optimization. Any Search Engine (Google, Yahoo!, Bing,…) has its own algorithm which determines the order of the search results presented when a specific Keyword is searched.

Although those algorithms are not publicly known and are changed from time to time, there are some proven methods that can be applied by anyone to get his own stuff ranked on the front page and even on the first or second spot.

Just to express an obvious thing: Being presented as the search result no.2 means lots of free, consistent traffic as people are typing in and searching after this particular keyword where you are ranking well.

So for marketers who are doing any online marketing or promoting (and in my opinion also for those who only do offline work), it should be a great concern to rank things high especially in Google!

My personal experience with SEO

Recently I published a blog post on advertising with solo ads on this Empower Network Blog (You can read it here).

I did not do any special SEO stuff, just added some tags. I don’t even now anymore if I’ve added any links to the article.

Yesterday I found this:

I was searching for some fresh solo ad publishers to try out and went through different keywords until I finally had my own blog post in front of my eyes.

I WAS TOTALLY AMAZED!

It ranks no.9 on the Google front page and I myself am the living proof that people find it, because I’ve found it without even searching it!

How does SEO work?

There are – as I already mentioned earlier – several methods to rank your stuff high on Google and other search engines (I just focus on Google because it’s the no.1 visited website worldwide).

I will do some training videos were I will share some in-depth stuff on that topic, but for now, I will let you know the one thing which for me seems to be the most important…

Google considers the Alexa rank of your ranked website. Alexa is a platform that analyzes the traffic of each website in the world and puts those sites into order depending on the traffic. Google and Facebook are no. 1 & 2.

The higher your site ranks on Alexa the more probably it will rank high in Google (of course there are some other things involved in it, too)…

It’s kind of a vicious circle as we want to do SEO to get more traffic. And now we need to have more traffic to do SEO?!?

The answer is NO! There is already a solution and you know it…
