Be a Blogger Branding

Be a Blogger Branding is what we have been thinking of lately with one of our sites. If you are a blogger and you want to be successful at it, branding creates a name, a reputation and something that folks recognize over time. This makes it easier for them to remember you….and your site.

Just think of Apple……you immediately think of some product that Apple makes and sells. You also think of their logo…which of course is an apple. So If Apple was building their company up and they were developing their brand or branding…..would they name their company Apple…..and then put an Orange on their products?

Of course not, that would be silly.

Now if you want to be a blogger and start your own online home business, well then you have to decide what you like the most. If you like something and you blog about that, your passion will come through to your readers. They will sense your passion, your excitement.

So what is that topic….that subject that you want to be your brand. When people visit that site of yours….what do they immediately think of?

Well for me, I have a passion to help people….and especially people who are unemployed or underemployed. I love to take young people getting out of college with no hopes of getting a job and teach them to be a blogger.

Then again, I also love to teach older folks how to be a blogger. Some of these folks have spent their entire career working faithfully in their career field…..and then they find themselves out of work. Now for them, well the experts say that they most likely will never work in their field again. And that is a tragedy in my opinion.

But I like to teach them to be a blogger…..and teach them to take that expertise and share it with readers and visitors on the internet. And this gives them their own online home business.

AND best of all…..whether young or older…..by having their own online business…..they now have more control over their financial future. They can hold their head up high and never feel down in the dumps again because they lost their job.

NOPE…and NEVER AGAIN!!!!

So for my branding I chose “Be a Blogger“. Now to create a brand, I bought up all of the domain names that I could that had be a blogger in them. Then I just started a brand new blog, a free one and it is called “Be a Blogger.Biz“.

Now I can have various subjects, but you want to have everything that you can, include your brand keywords.

So here is an example of what I am doing for my branding.

Blogger Chat, Blogger Money, Blogger income, Be a Blogger Biz, Blogger Words, Blogger Videos.

I think you get the picture. My keywords are in the domain names, in all of the pages that I try and write about…..and I use the same words as much as I can as I pick topics and pages to write about. And it helps all the folks who I teach because they immediately understand that people will recognize a brand.

They can see what I am doing pretty clearly and then they can think about their own branding!

And the most important thing to understand if you are building an online home business and you want to be a blogger…..is that the search engines scores your posts, pages and sites….based on key words.

And if you have a domain name, pages, and posts with the same keywords….you can dominate the search pages for that keyword.

Now let me tell you something right up front. If you are going after an extremely popular keyword, you have a lot of work ahead of you. In fact you may never rank high enough to be found.

So it is best to find a category that you can dominate and then pick your brand and go from there. But your brand should be built around what you are passionate about. Something that perhaps you are an expert about.

And blog about things that you are good at.

Now that you have selected a brand…..promote, promote, promote!! And don’t forget that if you have a catchy brand (should be fairly short) and easily recognizable…..well people will remember it very easily.

So get your brand out there. These are some of the things that I plan to do with my brand. And I say that because there are so many people out of work and I can reach them from literally every where. So that is what my effort is all about. Striking up conversations and helping these folks out….where ever I can find them!

So how about Be a Blogger Biz on a base ball cap or on the back of a jacket or Tee Shirt. How about the domain name itself…….we can get it embroidered onto the hat or a Tee shirt. Then when someone is at the mall behind you online they see the domain for your website like this www.Be-a-Blogger.Biz. Well they may just ask you what that is about….or maybe when they get home they will look it up on the internet.

What about a magnetic sign for your car or van when you travel. Imagine driving for 6 hours on a trip…..each direction? Okay maybe even just an hour or two…..but why not advertise? Well what if you had a magnetic sign made up that you could remove and throw in the trunk when you get there?

And maybe it says “Have your own online home business…..Be a Blogger Biz…… Visit us at www.Be-a-Blogger.Biz”.

Well of course this is for my brand, but I am trying to give you some ideas for branding. And free advertising. Especially when you are travelling for long distances.

And even when you are at the mall. Most of us guy’s don’t like to shop. But if you are going to the mall with your wife…well then we should promote our business and have a Tee Shirt on with something on the back.

Every person walking behind you is going to be looking at the back of your shirt and wondering what is that all about. Heck they may even look it up on their smart phone and talk to you about it.

So if you want to be a blogger and have your own online home business, give branding some thought.

What are you good at? What expertise do you have from that career that you lost to unemployment. What do you like? What gets you excited and you just want to share it with the world?

Now can you shrink it down to just a few words….to make it easy to recognize?

After you come up with something look it up on a search like Google and see how many pages are out there on the internet. And then see if the domain names are available perhaps on GoDaddy.com.

And that’s how you start to brand your business. Now if you are raring to go you can buy an Empower Network blogging system and just start blogging. But as you learn and start to feel comfortable with blogging and what you would like to specialize on….well then there is an option for you to expand your business.

You could brand yourself and link back and forth between your Empower Network blogging system and your branding blog site. And remember….this is only if you want to expand your business. But if you are like me, you want to get the most out of your online home business.

If you want to be a blogger…..well then do it with gusto!
