Why Empower got kicked off Facebook

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

If you’re new to Empower (or perhaps, randomly reading this post) and you’re curious as to WHY we aren’t allowed to post on the Facebook – A) I recently discovered why and B)  I’ve found a way around the situation (next post)

First off:  Why?

Long story short – – A ways back, when Empower WAS allowed on the facebook and every Affiliate was using it to drive traffic/gather leads… many ‘Non-Empower’ facebook users got fed up with constant Empower Posts.  That said, Empower got flagged ‘X’ amount of times for being spam…  then FB put a stop to it and called it a day.

Per , Mike Sherratt…

What people probably find the most is when people blatantly pitch of their content. A lot of Empower Network blog posts I read on Facebook were about what? JOIN Empower Network! BUY the products!

So what does this mean for us?

When we’re maneuvering around the fact that Empower gets “spammed” on the facebook (ie: while getting our links ONTO our ‘walls’), please be sure to provide content that is more welcoming/interesting than buyBuyBUY!!!

Today, whilst listening to the November 23, 2012 (Inner Circle Audio)… the following comment came up with almost every Leader that spoke, Share your story, where you’re at in life, what your struggles are, what your success are, what you’re doing, etc…

In order to build a blog-following, please remember that blogging is considered a ‘Long term IPA’.  This means that you should now consider yourself a news paper or columnist… if you will …who is collecting readers.

People will find you far more desirable if they can connect or relate to you… versus be hit with an incessant barrage of “BUY MY SHIT, BITHCEZ!!!)

Think of it this way… when you pick up the phone and it’s a person who is instantly ‘selling you’… what do you do?  You either hang up (like my mother) or tell the person ‘No thank you.  Please remove me from your list” (like myself).  Either way:  We both hung up.

If you keep posting firey pitches of “buy these brilliant products so you can get rich too” …people who don’t understand that we are FOR REAL, will automatically get turned off and possibly never return again.

How about this?  Since a ‘call to action’ is required within every post, perhaps we just rephrase the ‘pitching approach’ for at least 2 out of 3 times.

That said (if you’re not already in Empower and reading this)… DON’T <<click on this link>> because you will be redirected to fill in your email and learn about my new way of making money.
