“What are you doing New Years Eve?” has been sung by a many different artists over the years.  Harry Connick, Jr.’s happens to be one of my favorites.  Regardless, this is one of those songs that I LOVE every year but as fate ‘wills’ it …I’ve yet to have someone to sing it to…………….   Sonova’ bitch, but… whatever!!!

That said… today, I was thinking about the other people out there that may feel the same way and wanted to put a message out there, just incase they needed a boost:

When it comes to meeting someone – it’ll happen when it’s supposed to – So please be sure to keep your mind off the “I‘m still single at 34 and It’s been 13 years since I’ve been in a meaningful relationship” mind set.  Trust me, I understand… as that’s my story too.  

My Opinion:  Life always works out if you’re open to letting it.  In stead of dwelling on what isn’t in your control and focus on what ISin your control!  Perhaps you enjoy cooking, performing or the healthy activities like biking, the gym or ALL the above.  Whatever it is.. you should do it, because post 2012 is all about YOU doing what’s right for YOU!  

If you don’t believe me… think about your friends for a moment and how many of them are over the old paradigm of how we’ve been told things work (thank you 1950′s) and probably switching jobs and possibly making what many would most would call ‘irrational decisions that are too risky in this economy’.

I’m personally working on me by invest my extra time in building an online business, so that when I do finally meet ‘the one’ – – not only will I have a bulging bank account with residual incomes, but I’ll have THE TIME to spend with ‘said person’!!  Perhaps your interested in the same.
