Rob Bliss Creative just published this creative, one-of-a-kind music video made with the ‘help’ of a Google Street car.
The band Gunnar & The Grizzly Boys ’ambushed’ a Google Street car–which are famous for traversing the world’s streets and recording the footage for Google Maps–out in the country, and used the opportunity to ‘record’ a very unique music video for their songCould Be Me.

This is a great example of the creative minds that we are given as human beings.
It’s amazing what you can do with a few pick up trucks, a nice song, and some enthusiasm and imagination.
I think the song is pretty good, but what really got me interested was the uniqueness of the concept, and I think a lot of people felt the same way.
That’s why the video is going viral in a ridiculously short amount of time.
Also, a great thing about the concept is that the band did not have to pay for their own recording equipment.
Just a bit of organization and convenient planning and they had a perfectly good music video in a matter of minutes.

The great thing about this is that anyone can do it. Anyone can find a googlestreet car and record something. I’m not exactly sure how, but you can probably figure it out.
I found a link that says which cities the Googlestreet cars are currently in. Sadly there aren’t any in Virginia, but there seem to be quite a few in Texas and few other states.

When I think about it, it’s a bit hard to realize the impact that Google technology has had on our lives.

The technology for GoogleStreet View was launched back in 2007 and it was integrated into the Maps application for the Apple Iphone in November of 2008.
Simple things like this are typically disregarded, but they actually have a pretty large impact.
And it’s just a small thing to think about the next time you need directions to your dream destination.
