The Core Commitments

Which of you knows the 8 CORE COMMITMENTS?

So this weekend was the beginning of a new chapter for me here at EmpowerNetwork. I finally decided to get serious, and get all in. I have joined the 10/10 Formula Team, got in touch with my mentor Armando, and started in on my training in earnest. I realized that I can’t go forward doing what I was doing. Having all the training in the world, and all the best trainers in the world isn’t going to help if I wasn’t ready to get off my ass and do what they told me. A few things really hit me hard this week. My wife got to talking about some of the things we can’t do this summer, and some of the things she really had set her heart to do over the next year (move to New Brunswick to be near her best friend, buy a house, travel) all of the usual stuff that people want to accomplish. She wasn’t complaining mind you, she knows I work hard, and I provide for the family. We always have a roof over our head, the bills get payed and there is always food, but that doesn’t quite feel like enough, you know? I had to sit and listen and responded with my usual hang dog look, my cowed “I know honey, I wish we could afford it too.” And I hate it, I absolutely hate not being able to give my family the things they want, and deserve. Then I thought about it… I work with a group of phenomenons. Marketing freaks and geniuses. Why the hell am I not making money? People have been checking through my blog, and it’s just been stagnating…
So I contacted Armando. I asked him a couple of pointed questions. You know what he said? “Anything I can do to help, brother.” You know what? I got a little excited. So I fired off a few emails worth of questions, and I decided to go through my original training package at EmpowerNetwork, they call it the Fast Start program. I figured I paid for this stuff, and I know I’ve already gone through it, but I need to reset myself, and start over. So I did. I spent hours re-viewing each of the training videos, and taking notes. Why notes? It’s not that the stuff is rocket science, I mean I really was impressed, but it’s not complicated, but it helps me to remember, and it saves me time later, I can just flip threw the notes I made and get to the ideas I am looking for. Now one of the things they kept saying in the videos is “Get all in!” and “Do what we tell you, and you will succeed!” Now if an incredibly successful group of people tell you to do something, and that’s how you can be successful, do you think about it? Do you hum and haw? Or do you take a good long look at where you are, what your situation is, and say “I want what they are offering, and I am going to do whatever they tell me to, to insure I get it!!!”? Well that’s what I did. That’s what I am doing. That’s what I will continue to do. Whatever it takes, whatever they tell me to do. You know why? I want what they have. Not the money (though that’s nice, and being completely honest, the money is a big thing), not the “stuff” cause that goes hand in hand with the money. But the team. The group of people that will do whatever it takes to insure that everyone involved will succeed. I want that. There is nothing quite like listening to Dave and Dave talk to a group of leaders, and to really see what kind of people make up the core of the EmpowerNetwork. That’s where I want to be, that’s what I want, and that’s what I will have. So if you are coming with me, take my hand, let’s move forward together and get it done!!! Tomorrow I want to talk a little about the 8 Core Commitments and why I feel they are so important, and what I am doing in regards to each of them. Have a great night, and I’ll see you tomorrow!!!DL
