130/247 Ways To Get Traffic

Happy Wednesday Traffic Tipping!!!

Good evening!!! Hope your day was bright and sunny!!! It was beautiful here, again I managed to spend some time swimming with the kids and absolutely loved it. I have a couple of new things going up here tonight. But I wanted to make up for yesterdays internet loss, and make a second traffic post. Tonight should be fairly quick, and if you don’t feel like doing the work, I can show you how to get someone else to do it cheap There have been a ton of exciting things going on with the EMpowerNetwork this week. The big Denver meetup is coming, but I don’t have a valid passport, and won’t be able to get mine in until after the event is over. But they went ahead and did a little something special. They dropped the price for the event tickets, and they added a huge bonus for those who buy. But only for a limited time. So guess what I did? I bought the ticket. I know I can’t use it, but I want all the bonuses that come along with it. So what does that mean for you? Well some lucky bugger is going to get my ticket if they can make it down to Denver!!! So if you can make it, and you need a ticket, let me know!!! I will pick someone shortly.

Now back to traffic related matters. If you are looking for the full list of 247 Ways to get Traffic, then go here. It is the skinny version, and pretty basic, but it has each point, and will still take a while to read. If you are just chomping at the bit to get through tip number 130, then keep right on reading!!!

130. Create a killer WordPress theme which automatically includes a link to your site on the blogroll and another on the bottom (in the footer) giving yourself credit for the design, and linking you to their traffic.

So how many of you can design a killer WordPress theme? Yup, me neither. But the thought is still sound, and can carry over to a lot of different items. Pictures, apps, documents, video… Basically anything you can put your url or brand on and then give away. It really is just a matter of making it something people want, and something that will get shared. Then find the people you want to give it to. I would start with Facebook, torrent sites (especially if they think it’s a paid item they are getting for free), JV giveaways (great way to pick up a lot of extra traffic there anyway), as a gift for people who comment on my.. I mean your blog It really is easier to give stuff away than you might think, just make sure they know it’s a great item and that it’s free. There is nothing worse than free “crap”, even if it is free it’s still crap. Right? It is going to have your name on it, so make sure it’s worth while. Now I did mention something about getting someone else to do the work for you. For the themes, I would go to Fiverr.com. Yup, just weent there, there are tons available The negative of Fiverr.com is it’s easy to get side tracked and start “shopping” so stay focused The same goes with the other items, if you can’t do it yourself, you can always find someone to do it for you, shop cheap places like Fiverr to make sure you don’t get soaked. I know that isn’t a lot of info, but seriously, if you head over to Fiverr, you’ll be glad for the extra time tonight, or go here to find out how to get a free Ferrari… ! Have a great night, and I will see you tomorrow!!!DL
