125/247 Ways To Get Traffic
Happy Traffic Thursday!!!
What a great day!!! I managed to accomplish more than I thought I could, and get some of my backlog completely caught up. I will be trying to get my other blog, CasinoCrushing, caught up a little today, but I keep getting side tracked with great info, and go off on mental tangents But I have stuff to post. I felt a little overwhelmed a few times today, but managed to push through, and it got me to thinking. I feel overwhelmed a lot with what I am doing here, but I keep pushing through… why? The final payoff. The ability to control what I am going to be doing, what I will be making, with whom I am working, and how much of my time stays with my family. I don’t think that anyone would give up an opportunity to spend their lives the way the want, doing something that helps others as well. So if you want to see what I am up to, this is a great start here, or check out some of the links I posted below, there are some more fantastic resources there. Of course, I am always available to talk and/or message. Just drop me a comment, and I will get right back to you!!!
Now let’s get into the raffic end of the blog, I have been playing with some new and exciting things lately, and if you ended up here, chances are one of them worked So if you are looking for a quick refresher on the full, but bare bones, list of 247 Ways to get Traffic, go here. If you are ready for step number 125, in all it’s glory, just keep on reading
125. Purchase ads on other sites to “steal” their traffic.
Technically it’s not stealing, but it kind of seems like it. How often are you scrolling along a site, and a little ad p-laced along the side, or top banner, or even the bottom of teh page catches your eye. It happens to me all the time. While I hate 90% of the ads out there, every 10th or so, has something that gets my attention. So I finishe readnig whatever was on the page and click the ad. Off to a new site, where some guy, most likely someone a lot like me or you, has a product he wants to share with us. This is exactly the kind of traffic we are attempting to get. When people click on your ad, you kow they are already curious about your product or service, and this will improve your rate of sales way over the rate of “junk traffic” and even some of the targetted paid traffic. These people are already looking for a similar product or service, and have basically raised their hand, waved at you and yelled “Hey, over here!!! I wanna buy something!!!”. Could you imagine what kind of sales you could have with a large quantity of this kind of traffic? That’s why some of these ad spaces are so expensive. But there are tons of places that have cheaper places to advertise on their sites, or some ofthe bigger sites have slower traffic pages taht they “rent” space on for a little less. So shop around, and keep an eye on your budget. It also helps if you make a point of linking to a site that compliments or goes hand in hand with , the product or service you are offering. That way you know the traffic there is already pre-dispossed to what you have to offer. This one isn’t something I would rush into. Definately take the time to research, and especially with companies that you don’t know, get as much as you can in writing before handing over your money. Or better yet, see if they will trade adspace on their site, for adspace on yours. Keeping the $$$ in your pocket always is a great idea!!! Have a great night, and I will see you tomorrow!!!DL
Traffic, traffic, traffic!!! DL
